  • 10,000 shells daily...some bankers got fat - its televised stuff like this why we lost the war. No U.S. homeland support! They wouldn't dare present controversial episodes like this in WW2 - the Vietnam war was lost back home thanks to US Television broadcasting executives.

  • 10,000 shells daily...some bankers got fat

  • @mamothcar1 A couple of modern smart bombs can easily cost more than that.

  • "general westmorland".... the biggest idiot of the vietnam war other then macnamara.

    they're tied for first.

when is this country gonna learn that politicians make shitty generals...?

  • Was the movie Hamburger Hill based on this battle?

  • @My1968Impala no

  • funny how some people here complain about the free American Media...even accusing them as leftists. There is no free media in communism. And if there was no media in this battle, these brave young men would be all but forgotten in history. I never even heard of this battle and I have been studying the Vietnam War all my life. Thanks to the free media, people will know what really happened

  • @AccordGTR But they were forgotten nevertheless. Only now the public opinion is changing, not about the causes of war, but about soldeirs. Also, many of those university activist from those days sure are politicians today.

  • Support for what? His panty hose you ass wipe!

  • Typical American TV footage that wore down the support of the American people. Politicians not letting the military win the fuckin war. We needed to go into North Vietnam. We needed to stop China from resuplying the North. We needed to keep the TV cameras out of the face of the fighting men. We needed to do a lot of things we did not do. I hope we learned some thing from this. Oh also the draft needed to reach Harvard, Yale and all the other untouchable young meat instead just us poor bastards

  • @jamboa2003

" Typical American TV footage? that wore down the support of the American people. "

Support for *what*? Robert McNamara just released an autobiography that HE didn't know what the Vietnam War was being fought for.

  • @tigerone1970 The events of 1975 answer your question. And what makes you think North had rights to rule over South instead of South ruling over North as a unified Vietnam?

  • My hope is that William Westmoreland is in hell right now. If not then face to face with my Father who he assisted in killing.

  • @silvereagle2061 Westy should of never been the general in that war,he was asking for more troops all the time,Im pretty sure he is in a lake of fire.

  • My father SSGT Robert Carl Dambeck was one of the 159 Marines killed during Operation Buffalo on July 7th, 1967

  • @silvereagle2061 Your Dad was with one of the best. My sincere condolences, Semper Fi!

  • @usmc7242 Thank you

  • great upload! I find things about the Vietnam war very interesting..

  • media pukes

  • @TheMaddog780 Mike Wallace is a huge leftist, in 3 years of this video, he was one of the Commie cheerleaders against the American efforts, which we were winning clearly after TET, by the way.

  • @usmc7242 Along with Hanoi Jane(Fonda),everytime I see that picture of her in the anti-aircraft gun it makes me sick, that bitch should of been hung for treason

  • ha ha ha.. that general gave away americas biggest weakness, public opinion.
