@TheSuperEricWarshot Its an ok rpg, dont believe everyone that is the greatest thing ever to come out of japan, its just good/ok. The start of the story is relativly light hearted but it gets VERY dark and extremly depressing later, which is why I personally dont like it. If your into that sort of thing, go ahead and try it. I prefer FF9 over FF7 myself cause its funny and dosent take itself too seriously, while still providing great story and characters. Decide for yourself :)

I loved this tragedy when I was little, I first played this game when I was around 6-7 and never experienced a plot line with such a profound sadness element to it. It was the first time where you didn't save the princess, the villain actually succeeds in his plan of killing your love interest, and the music was perfect as well. To me, this will always be my favorite game. Thank you for posting such a great clip.

What is so great about Final Fantasy games is its less of a game, rather an interactive movie. Especially in FF7, the stories are so epic, and the characters so unique, getting attached is fairly easy, and after countless of hours of playing FF7, and letting all the emotions of the Cloud and Aeris settle, it's so hard not to cry when she dies. I wont lie, I did. I still watch it and get emotional haha. Give a thumbs up for Aeris.

For me, the part that makes me sad isn't the part where Sephiroth kills her. It's the part with Cloud. Just the way he was describing his pain over her death, man. I think I felt bad for him more, if anything.

Besides, I didn't really like Aerith in this game. Oddly, I like her way better in Crisis Core.

Im sooo insanely glad that i finaly found a version of this vid that had the correct sound to it, i was begining to think that i had made it up in my head that Aeris' music started just as her materia hit the floor. I will never forget the day i first saw that scene, i actualy cried through gritted teeth that she was dead, it truly was one of the sadist moments of my life as stupid as that might sound.
