Yes, they are from Zurich. One of them used to work as a bath attendant! Think he did way better as musician, smile. Love this song the most and I was very proud 'cause I used to live in Zurich as well in the 80ies.
The only song I knew from Double was "Captain of her Heart" which was one of my favorites songs from the 80's. About 4 years, I ordered the album "Loopy Avenue" Kurt Maloo Vs. Double from Amazon. What a pleasant surprise. I love the whole album. It's nice to listen to it while relaxing and drinking a Martini on the rocks. Great music, Kurt Maloo.

I want to know what the symbols in your videos mean. Like what's up with his hands when he's holding the binoculars at around 2:40? And other pressing questions for inquiring minds. :)
@kumaloo I guess he had some kind of ephiphany represented by the lightning, and the fact that he looks present and much happier after that point. Maybe you represent an unseen force/guide/facilitator for this experience. You are the moon in a sense? His unconscious mind is far more animated than he appears to be - so the moon is in ascendency. The two of you come together in the end - perhaps this is about the attainment of an integrated mind/ego? Can't help but try to guess...
Double's second best song. The sound is unique. The instrumentals and vocals are great and the concept is cool. Felix was a real talent and so is kurt. Rangoon Moon and Devil's Ball deserved more recognition than they received in the U.S. especially Rangoon Moon.
Amazing, I heard this song last time, more than 25 years ago, and I still feel the same as before. Outstandig, astonishing. Its a pitty this guys didnt made more music like this.
they seem a little weird in this video lol.......but the lyrics itself are great as always because these guys really know what good music is and make it happen!!
Lots of bands, especially from the UK were brilliant on the keys/synth. It's a sound that today should be using. Watch New Wave will make it's move again in the next decade!
Hey man...This music is unique. And very high quality. Not that ordinary shit. Great, make som more. Im sitting. waiting on the fence. With my pocket, full of money. ;-)
Thanks Kurt for another outstanding video! I really like the touch of humor you added to it. And what a wonderfully catchy song...I find myself humming it all the time. Your music is so great. :)

He covers the binoculars with his hands to visualize, that he's looking inside his brain more than at the world outside.
