My name is Jim and I now live in Japan.

I was born, and grew up in rural Darwin, NT.

These images show my childhood playground. Thankyou for making them available to me.

As a kid, I was only ever scared by one sound. TV, Horror Movies, etc wouldn't frighten me, but there was a sound emminating from the bush, the darkness, surrounding our house. It was the call of the Curlew.

I'm over it now. But, for nostalgia's sake, I want to hear it again. Can you help?
