Hey, Alblon1983, here's the scoop, We are retiring the last DC-8 in our fleet in November of this year, ATI is going to 767 and 757 for it's combi fleet.
Looking at your video again, It's like standing outside at the airport. I wish you could get more Ati shots like taking off. I'm really taken with the the quality of your video. There is no other ATI video on You Tube with this quality.
@dc8steve Thanks. Unfortunately, DC-8s aren't regular visitors to Hannover airport. This was a one-off charter flight for the Royal Air Force. We haven't had any ATI aircraft or DC-8 since.
What the hell kind of a camera were you using? the video was great. some of the best video I have seen. Unbeliveable quality. The pic was one of the best I've seen!!!!!!!!
@dc8steve Thank you very much! I was using a Panasonic HDC SD10. I'm quite happy with it. The picture and sound quality are usually good, especially as it is not a very expensive camera, but the colours are sometimes a bit off / unrealistic. This is a problem I've noticed with several Panasonic cameras. But apart from that I can fully recommend the SD10.
