Pivot is not for beginners because

A) You need to know the way joints move to make realistic animations

B) theirs more things you can do in it

C) Its easy and fun to work with

ok i downloaded pivot....then Macromedia flash 8...then tisfat and i rated from 1-10 this is what i got...

Pivot--3 [good, but for beginners]

TISFAT--1[horrible just horrible...]

lol you dont know how to use tisfat if you rate it as 1. If you are creative you can do te same thing on pivot and tisfat. Also pivot isnt for begginers, it's harder and requires patience while tisfat can tween(Can tween it to 3D as well O.o) so your ratings (even though they are your opinions) are all WRONG. I agree with flash though :D

I use pivot and I just downloaded tisfat.  So far, I like pivot better, but that's just because you can just start making an animation without having to know anything about the program.

wow, i am an expert at pivot, i downloaded tisfat about three days ago, and i had no clue how to use it. i searched the internet but i found nothing. i really think that pivot is easier than tisfat, even if you do have to do a lot of easing. oh and is i just me or do i have to animate backwards in tisfat?! is that screwed up or what?!

i mean tisfat is better because, for example: you take 5 frames but you have to use the first and last frame in the first u have a pose and in the last u have another pose and it moves automaticli from the first to the last.

Yeh man, Tisfat cant add sound tho. So when u have got ur video save as a AVI or record it, Import it into Windows movie maker and add some sound.

yer wot i did was i made a few anims and i covnerted them 2 avi and put them all 2gether on windows movie maker it took a will. and another reason y its "good" is because iv been animing 4 years.

but yer i did make it cos ur not aloud 2 put pireted stuff on Y.T.
