Hey-I would like to add a little verse to that final comment about bringing the troops home. 'After we bring the troops home-AlQuaeda realizes the lack of American resolve under this weak leader and lets the Edwards administration think everything is fine for about a year more.' What a patronizing piece of crap. Most caucuses are held in school buildings or hotel meeting rooms, and none are held in barns.

Yes, Democrats try to bribe or intimidate each other at the caucuses. You have to stand in a designated spot for your candidate. There is no ballot. After the caucuses, the local party chair adjusts the numbers as they see fit.

This is a good explanation of the Iowa caucus process, which has always been a little mysterious to me. I'm a Virginian who absolutely agrees with Florida's comments below. It was a meeting of democrats and they had a straw poll and all the groups had people talking about what candidate is best. Well because I got my paperwork, had candy to give, and knew what I was talking about, Edwards won that local straw poll. I was so proud. So caucus is very similar so I won't be an alien. Now the only problem will be the gas to get to Iowa, hmmm
