I''m sure Josh was a fine person and it is tragic he died so young. My purpose is to try to reach kids so they understand what they risk doing dumb things like Josh did. Damn people WAKE UP! Rollerblading and other moronic pastitmes isn't your life. Josh cut his short doing something stupid and senseless. He'll never know what it is like to fall in love, get married, have kids, watch them grow up, enjoy his career even growing old.

The lesson to be learned from this tragic event is NOBODY is so "good" that they shouldn't take senseable precautions. In the memorial vid Josh was seen multiple times doing all kinds of stunts. He wasn't wearing a helmet in ANY of them. That suggests that Josh in his own mind thought he was so good he could avoid serious injury. Obviously he was wrong.

Being wrong only once is all it takes to end up dead or suffer life changing injury.

The same mindset is the excuse why some don't wear helmets when riding their motorcycle or click their seatbelt. Ditto for those that smoke, drink to excess, do drugs, etc.. They're aware bad things can happen, but somehow try to rationalize oh, it won't happen to them.

Today (first day on agressive skates )I learned frontside on little rail.. about.. umm 3meters long..
