And about the Levi's - cotton, thick, breathable, probably just as much protection from brush than a pair of riding pants... I say a good fitting pair of 501's are just as good as a pair of $90.00 "riding pants" - plus the button fly just makes you pimp.

@sammyponcho ....you tell him..i was 220 pounds and was beating little 20 year olds in the early 80's late 90's..Barsto to Vegas...place 14 over all in 97...you have to look out for thos big guys...in the desert...not to good in a Motocross race but the long hauls they do fine....

later Collins motor sports..i help on the pits on several Baja's they stick me in a motor home out in the middle of the desert and wiat...it was a trip.....
