just as you cannot compare a pond to an ocean you cannot compare Sanathana Dharma to one of those religions. Hinduism does not force itself on anything, the hindus do not convert people yet in 2007 hinduism had the most retention of people. I'm not indian i'm south american. there is no such thing as a hindu ruled country. a country where the people prosper is a hindu country. Hinduism has no date or founder, i guess it isn't a religion it is a way of life.

I would love to dance in such a way but such things are not taught where i reside, and i do not wish to offend any Hindu who would find it disrespectful to take upon such tradition when i am not apart of them. We have one God known as the Brahma or 'One' who is portrayed in millions of figures including different animals, genders, etc. All the idols are symoblic and point to the Brahma, which has no set figure or shape because it is in all living creatures and, therefore, is represented symbolically by different human and animal idols. There are so many because there are so many aspects of life. Sri Ganesha, for example, represents good fortune, a concept we all pray for at some time of another.

Do you know that ancient people greeted each other on good occasions with goat blood.And did U people had a chance to read the bible. If S then you would have known about offerings.(the people cut lambs on a specified area or on a specified rock.They worshiped god with cooked meat.)
Till this day kumkum is used instead of goat blood and the offerings are continued in many temples and home.
