In the Roman period, the Franks were actually still fighting naked from the waist up, with very few wearing that great armor. Plus, the Franks would throw their axes while charging, without giving a fuck if anything was being thrown back at them. Being that my people came from the South Franconian dialect area of north Baden-Wurttemburg, I'm partial to the Franks, regardless.

This game is brilliant. I conquered the entire world with the Saxons several times. Being of Saxon bloodline myself, I HAVE to play Saxon ofcourse XD They are the most awesome ancestors of the Dutch.
