  • whats the soundtrack playing when tom hanks dies?

  • Aswell as the Drving scene and where Michaels taking the money out of the banks with Michael driving the car :L this is my favourite scene in the whole filmm! i love it so much i even analysed it for my film studies course:)

  • jude law was soo sooo scary, especially this last part with his pale face & icy eyes splattered with little droplets of blood. strangely enough, its literally the scariest movie ive ever seen (scarier than The Ring, etc)

  • I've seen this ending and heard the soundtrack enough to realize that you edited it by shortening 'seemingly' slow parts.

It's the timing that makes scenes more relatable. I think the director would normally do a better job. Thanks for posing thou.

  • This will sound wierd to everyone probably, but Tom Hanks does the best death acting in hollywood. This film and Saving Private Ryan come to mind.

  • Shooting an unarmed man in the back... twice. Tut, tut.

  • One of the greatest scenes in the history of movies. The satisfaction, peace, and happiness on Tom Hanks' face to see his son make the right decision. PERFECTION!!

  • I'm pretty sure that dog represents God.

  • the graetest scene for tom hanks

  • Did anyone notice at the end where the old couple lived that they were doing up their run down house because they were left the Money by them both :D She was painting it Cream, while he was on the Roof redoing the Tiles. What a beautiful way to end a film. Love it. Proof that you don't need to have a full on action film to make a Decent film.

  • @ADMediaEmpire decent film this film was amazing u said it rite with heart and good passion to a movie u create magic u don't need special effects or blood and guts all u need is a good story

  • The last line has become one of my favorites. Very insightful. "He was my father."

One of my all time favorite movies.

  • @92af Actually its different from all of the movies u named :S

  • at 1:15

  • Maybe try watching the whole movie. It's a really good movie though so you'd prolly enjoy it.

  • Why is there dots on that guys face.

  • did u watch the movie?

  • @TheZero1212z Tom Hanks shot a light next to him and the glass shattered into his face (Pretty much like Die Another Day :P

  • One of my favorite scenes ever. I love the way Sam Mendes directs blood.

  • jude law did an amazing job of potraying such a desterbed killer

  • Any one know what's the title of the song that starts at 2;18 ??

  • @carlos0259774 its called cathedral by thomas newman (:

  • always love your father

  • i thought tom hanks character was eerie just a flat out hitman law still came off to soft 4 me

  • Jude Law's character was eerie as hell...good to see him dead in the end

  • And he played it so well

  • i loved this film

god that place is beautiful... the house! does anyone know where it is? x

  • maguire this bastard :(

  • my fav scene

  • Great movie, end reminds me of the "The Mist" ending

  • "I just tell them, he was my father." - one of the greatest ending lines ever.

  • every time i c this movie .... i cry .... so touching ...... i love this movie

  • this ending scene made me cry so much, found it really sad

  • This was a really nice movie, loved it, truly underrated.

  • i love how the music climaxes as the shot fades out.

definately an underrated movie. great music and cinematography throughout

  • Great movie one of the saddest endings ive ever seen.

  • very good

  • best scene going

  • This movie is so perfect.

    It is so satisfying.

  • A truly great movie.

  • i love this movie it is the best movie of all cinema movies....

    really

  • If the bullets came in and out of his body, wouldn't there be bullet holes in the glass in front of him?

  • Very good question

  • i think thats really just the blood splattering

  • Some bullets, can bounce around inside someone and come out somewhere else, or just stay lodged in.

  • epic movie. Definently in top 3 fav's. Probably number 1. such a great movie.

  • great music i love it

  • great movie - one of my all-time favs

  • Storyline is similar to gladiator in many ways. Maybe too similar.

Real son jealous of a man close to his father.

The killing of his wife and son.

    His desire to get revenge.

    His ultimate revenge

    His ultimate death.

The maximus character was more honorable being a general than mike a mob hitman the real major difference.

  • hmm i'd have to disagree. i think tom hanks' character was more honorable. he not only wanted to take revenge for his family, but also to protect his son from harm and the criminal lifestyle. that's why he was happy that michael didn't shoot the assassin. he shot jude law's character himself to protect his son's soul. when you think about it, he basically secured his place in hell to keep his son from damnation. if that isn't honorable i don't know what is.

  • shire2005 - I guess this one was a much more "adult" movie than gladiator..although gladiator is one of my alltime favorites, too!!

  • this is such a masterful scene. acting is amazing, and its very sad..

  • I love the end meaning of this film.

  • Wow, it's so creepy how that music suddenly stops...you feel something's going to happen...I screamed out loud when Harlen shot him...

  • this movie is a Masterpiece!

  • They are making this story into a trilogy, where Micheal gets revenge for his fathers death after growing up. To me, that kind of defies the whole message behind this movie. Bah.

  • Oh, I hope they don't do that. Who would he take revenge on? His dad shot the guy before he died.

  • Oh wow! Tom Hanks is the best! I'm sorry about my pretty boring english. Nice film, nice Soundtrack! Thanks to Thomas Newman and his orchestra!

  • "Smile" ... ehhhh gives me the chills

  • ive never seen this film is it about the italian mafia or irish mafia

  • irish

  • resevoirdog88 I forgot about those movies..I remember Lady Killers that dead was funny

  • watch this movie enough times ule notice, water=death, incredible film. shouldve won best picture instead of chicago i think

  • Second movie Tom has died in..I think this and Private Ryan

  • dont forget a leauge of their own, philadelphia, and the ladykillers

  • i sort of knew he would die in the end, great movie and really upsetting scene

  • Saddest scene ever.

  • Ive seen this movie at least 20 times, and I cry at this scene every damn time.

  • same you think everything had turned out alright, and then bam, he has to die, D': D':

  • same her bro...same here..its just that shot...='(

  • Me too. Great scene. I think I got something in my eye.

  • @PersephoneK me too:(

  • ya that is creepy that he likes taking pictures of dead people ~_~

  • i think it was to prove he completed the hit

  • it's like those old mafia photos of those massacres and such. you see the bodies all there, and stuff, so he kinda reflects that side of humanity back then.

  • great scene from a great film. Awfully sad though.

  • Wonderful!

  • makes me cry :'(

  • this is so creepy
