nfs underground was an average game and i've got my doubts about if it deserves need for speed game like underground 2!

nfs 4, the best part of high stakes is i think car races, which we can won our opponents car or lose our car and also we can drive many cars from different manufactors.

nfs 5 porsche unleashed was also really epic, i am remembering it was first car race game that i used my microsoft sidewinder precision racing wheel (lol i've played nfs shift too with it and it's still near my table), i think hardest part of 5 was the driving techniques and lessons part. i played it many many hours long...

after underground released i can't say that i really played other nfs games until shift, but i think one of the worst ones was nfs 2 because it was too arcade.

after than 2, 3 was really revolution especially cop chases and if i'm not mistaken we can play as cops and we can deploy traps on the road, we can call backup and etc. 3 was really epic.

Underground 1 and 2 were EASILY the best NFS's and this is why. first, massive updates the graphics and physics systems (beginning of gen 2 nfs games) no more of those shitty steering wheel camera views and same tired old track layouts. 2. first games with huge levels of vehicle customization, including detailed performance tuning options. 3. introduction of new race modes like drift. 4. huge attention to detail in new worlds/landscapes. 4. much better soundtracks. 5. free roam mode in NFSU2.

Think prostreet was first game in the series i didn't play at all. Until then mw made biggest impact. Not to mention nfs 1&2 special editions,which both had some good music also..before the time of licensed music (which often sucks). Nfs 2 also had voodoo glide 3d acceleration,which was neat at the time. Nfs 3 had first in series directx 3d acceleration,it was so cool!

i prefer the older nfs mainly because you can make custom cars that weren't in the game. I play porche unleashed the most because of that and the tracks it has. I dont like the nitrous and rap music of the new ones, i dont play any past hp2.

NFS High Stakes and Porsche are the best - that was a racing game.

When it became a ghetto ilegal race game it sucked.

I like racing and cars - NFS had fun races and it was cool, you felt cool playing with joysticks and everything. MW and Underground suck, I rather play GTA.

NFS was fun to play when I was tired of Grand Turismo - simulators are too serious after hours of gameplay xD
