  • I just bought this bike last week but an "06. I love it! Love the sound! Throw a set of bags on it! Once you go bags you never go back... Theres a reason for it!! I love mine lol

  • @sparkit4me

yeah, I had bags on my last bike but don't want to spend the money right now. I want easy brackets which attach to the bags and makes them easy & quick to remove without a trace that the bike even has bags. $150.00 just for the brackets then there is the bags. I want the easy bracket system mainly so it makes it a lot easier to remove them when I want to wash the bike. I got the back rest with the rack so I can strap a bag back there when needed. Thanks for watching.

  • MAN.... That bike is sick as fuck bro

  • @stkilda2

    Thanks.

  • Du kannst deutsch??????

You are able to speak german?

    Funny.

Its an beautifull Sound, and i love it, like the Khrome works, but i think its too loud for german Cops!

    Stefan

  • @gooldii1

  • Prima Sound!

leider ZU laut, aber schön heftig!

    Schönes Tatatattoe!

    weiter so.

  • @gooldii1

    Vielen Dank für das Ansehen.

  • Santa gave me some rush slip ons for my '09 1200C. Only took me 1 hour 10 minutes to install them, I was taking my time so I wouldn't mess anything up. I'm not a mechanic but I do have some common sense when it comes to turning a wrench. Wow what a difference they made, nice bike, stay safe.

  • @smencinias

Cool. The Rush Slip-ons really do sound great. Enjoy and ride safe.

  • Im not really a big harley guy, but I've been considering a 1200 low.

I originally wanted a Jap bike, but most of them are going for the same damn price as some of the Harleys, i couldn't believe it!

I'd rather pay $10,000 on something made with steel, rather than plastic!

    How fast are these bikes?

  • @94SexyStang

Go for it. I'm glad I got mine.

  • @94SexyStang triple digits are not uncommon, anything past 140 starts to get a little iffy though.

  • i wish i had spokes on the back, im jealous

sweet sound man whoever tuned it did it right

    peace

  • 2 super glides had a baby LOL

thats not a put down jsut the image I get when I see your bike

  • Wanna sell?

  • @samhobson30 Id love to own your bike SWEEEET !!!!

  • @samhobson30

    Thanks.

  • @samhobson30

    Sorry, it's not for sale.

  • CM 250 HONDA CHOPPER

  • Nice ride mate , i ride the 883 custom but i want to upgrade to the 1200 for longer trips , anyway enjoy and stay safe

  • @hdsportster08

Thanks. I'm very happy with the 1200. Be safe as well.

  • simple

  • fags

  • Very soon I'm gonna realize a dream I've had since I was a teenager and that's to learn to ride and own a Harley, most likely a 1200 Sportster. There's a Harley dealer in northwest Arkansas that gives instruction on riding, safety, and everything else that has to do with riding.

  • @Skyflite

That's great man. I knew that I wanted a Harley ever since I was 5. I finally got one at 35 and road a lot of other bikes until then. Good luck.

  • @paisteboy Right now i am 17, i just got a 883 Sportster. already everyone wants to beat my head in because im so young. yet the reason i go it is (because it was cheap) and starting with a sport bike isnt a option. The best way to get a harley is from people you know. now i just need to get used to riding it. :/

  • @onryouofthedarkness

    sounds cool. Ride safe.

  • @onryouofthedarkness your a smart kid, just today my buddy gunther told me that his sons freind just died on a gsxr 600. In mass, stay away from crotch rocket piece of crap. They are junk. anyone that makes fun of a Harley is just JEALOUS.

  • I want your bike!! Hopefully doing my test soon, and I will own a sportster!

  • @NoOneGreaterThanHe

    Cool. Thanks for watching.

  • your idle is too high

  • @jrcamper1

It was set like that from the factory and it's fuel injected. It runs perfect and i'm not messing with it.

  • @jrcamper1 The Fuel injected models idle very differently to Carb set up, they run faster naturally...

  • oh my god!>>>the camera is mooving>>>>>i want to feel it!

  • Yo the bike is BEAUTIFUL i love the black and chrome look. I have a Sportster 1200 evo (1992) very clean with a paint job Miami color some day i'll load a video (when i can afford a cam.haha.

  • @TheSrbluebird

Thanks and cool I like to see the bike.

  • nice sound, sweet sound

  • @aronchas

    Thanks.

  • Nice bike dude! Sounds great. Good choice man.

  • @RJYEMS

    Thanks.

  • That sounds incredibly good. Looks clean to. Cheers mate!

  • @MrGurosa

    Thanks.

  • Beautiful. Just beautiful. The sound. I just bought a brand new '09 883 Sportster Low. The stock exhaust sounds like a Singer sewing machine, so I've ordered Rush slip-ons with 2" diameter baffles. Do you know what size baffles are in yours? I know you can replace the Rush baffles, about 70 bucks each.

I can't wait for those pipes to come! Great video.

  • @filthyphillyboy

Cool. I have 2" baffles too. Enjoy that new bike. Thanks for watching.

  • Thanks! I found it on your other video. Does the Sundowner give better lower back support than the stock seat? This is something I may have to deal with as I'm in the market for an 08 or 09 Sportster 1200L. I located an '08 with 2300mi for around $7500.

How does this $ound to anyone?

  • @hughsherry

I guess it gives a bit more lower back support, but the main advantage is that it is much more comfortable. With the stock seat you will want to jump off after 1 hour. With the sundowner you can go for hours. That price sounds really good.

  • Custom is ok but I like the handlebars and risers on the Low. Also, you can fit just highway pegs forward, keeping the controls mid. You can also buy and install a forward kit for under $400. This puppy has lots of balls especially if you're not riding 2-up.

Question about the seat on this bike. Is it stock?

  • @hughsherry

In this video the seat is stock but in my update video I have the Harley Sundowner seat.

  • sweet bike i got a question my banker told me to scout around for one i was thinking a sporster or a dyna im 5'11 bout 240 lbs think i would fit a sporster like this?? lol

  • @spidez8407

I'm thinking you can go a bit bigger. You'll want forward controls with your height.

  • @paisteboy cool i like the dyna's but hate the price

  • @spidez8407

Get a Sporster 1200 custom. It comes with forward controls and it sits a little higher than mine.

  • @spidez8407

I found an '08 1200L I'm ready to buy. Selling my 02 Dyna Low with 28K, excellent, garage kept. Interested? Where are you at? I'm in Northern NJ.

  • NICE !!!!!

  • BRUMBRUMBRUMBRUMBRUM

  • dude that a nice bike u got!!! sounds very good. i hope to have a harley some day. 5 star

  • Thanks, If you get a bike we'll have to go riding. Thanks for the comment.

  • Sportsters are utter shit. Mine has rusted so bad Ive gotta get it all repainted. The rear mudguard rusted, the chrome fell off the rear wheel, mirrors bubbled, the laquer on forks failed and the alloy corroded, the chainguard rusted, front rim rusted through etc. My Sportster is an 04 and is kept in a garage. The metal has only one coat of (shit) paint with no primer. It has no chance against UK weather. Come on HD pull your fucking socks up

  • I've seen a lot of Sportsters around my area and have not heard of anything like that at all. I haven't had one single problem with mine and am 100 percent happy with the bike. Sorry, maybe you got a lemon.

  • go buy yourself a soulless high production quality bike then.

  • @Badassbikerbastard Sounds like a shitty deal. Tough luck...

  • Sweet Bike man Post your video to mine and Davesfarm you should get more People to come to you channel

  • what model/size pipes are those... i was thinking of buying one and these sound really good

  • They are the Rush slip-ons and they have 2" Baffles in them. Not sure about the model but they are side cut.

    Thanks for watching.

  • nice bike

  • Thanks.

  • Amazing sound!!!!!!!!!! fantastic!

  • That sound is the sexist thing ive ever heard!!!

  • hey man, what size baffles is that? That bike souds bad ass

  • Thanks, they are 2" baffles.

  • You definitely want a newer fuel injected Harley! I bought a 2009 Nightster 1200 and am having the Vance and Hines Sideshots put on with the Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather! The fuel injected bikes are sooo nice, you don't have to adjust anything...and they warm right up and take off!

  • I think you were trying to reply to naitzirc about definately wanting a newer fuel injected Harley. I already have one and he won't see your comment unless you reply to his comment. Congrats on the new Harley JluvsKinMl. Paisteboy

  • Hi guys, i check this video quite often so i still saw it

What i ment was 96 or earlier.. but it's probably going to be a 2000 or newer...

  • For the THIRD time .. i ment 96 or NEWER... verywell i guess a 2001 or 2002 should be fine right?

  • The Harley sportster didn't come with fuel injection until 2007. if that is something you are loking for you'll have to get a 2007 or newer. Paisteboy

  • So what will the difference be between a 2002 and 2007... It's just like the normal Jap bikes right?

  • The fuel system i mean you drag out a splinter and more fuel comes in

  • I'm not sure what you mean about a splinter. I think it's going to depend on how much you want to spend. If you are willing to spend a little more, I would get a 2007 or newer since 2007 was the first year that the Sportster had feul injection and no carburetor.

  • Another Question, what is that button you press before you start i know its the " Killer " that shut's of the bike but why does it sound and you have to wait at first?

  • It turns on the fuel injection. I am just waiting until it is done spraying the fuel in before I press the starter button.

  • Wow are they like that on all harleys?

    Cool anyways..

  • Yes. On all the newer ones.

  • i was thinking about geting a 96- or earlier... i mostly want a 2000 or newer but it depends what i can find..

  • This is how i want a sportster to sound ! ++++

  • Yes, Rush pipes are louder than screamin eagle. The parts guy told me that when I ordered them. I didn't have to do anything else to the bike, just put on the slip-ons. Paisteboy

  • Yo so i've been looking at the sites.. So the more " on the bafflers the less bass comes out right?

Your pipes are wicked.. i if i get a sportster next year i'l get yours

  • hey, is rush pipes louder then the screeming eagle pipes? i have an 08 sportster 1200 low. i have screeming eagles on it but it is to quit for me. did you have to re programe your bike when you put thouse on?

  • Are those 3" pipes? I have the same bike. would like to get a set of those. Awesome sound!

  • They are the Rush slip-ons and they have 2" Baffles in them. They sound just as good in person. I am definately happy with the sound. I would recommend them for any Harley. Paisteboy

  • Nice bike. Great video. I'm in NY too. Nice to see the snow gone now.

  • Haha omg don't speak so soon please I just took the bike out yesterday!

  • Thanks. The weather was awesome today and I did some riding.

  • sounds nice man

  • Cool bike, I'm thinking of getting one .. tell me do you have any issues with the rear bottoming out when riding two up ?

  • It's a little stiff because I adjusted the shocks for the weight of 2 people, but it doesn't bottom out.

  • my dads just got this bike, its soo nice, when he said he had a new bike i thought he meant like a moto guzzi but whoa i was surprised

  • Cool. I'm lovin mine. You should post some vids of his bike. Does he have a Moto Guzzi too?

  • nah not anymore, he used to have two in the past though i think. i brang my mates round to show them the bike yesterday and their jaws hit the floor haha its a real headturner this bike

  • wow, almost 14,000 views. I'm impressed! =]

  • Thanks. I'll probably have to wait until spring to make more videos of the bike. Maybe we'll get a January thaw and I'll be able to take it out.

  • Nice bike, great sound..! Must be a great ride!!

    Congratz from the Netherlands!

  • Thanks, I'm enjoying it.

  • how many miles on it ? You know you can get a diff lower profile seat and help the leg reach ....

  • I've got a little over 3000 miles on it. The stock seat is pretty thin so I'm not aware of any seat that's going to make a difference. I also have mid controls so reach isn't a problem. What seat are you talking about?

  • Dude! I have the same bike 'cept mine's an'09!

I got it in Kansas City,I also put one of those quick release windshields on 'er. (Which is the ONLY way I'd put one on!)But it makes highway travel much smoother.I've already put 3167 miles on her,not bad since I just got it in September!Rubber side down Bro Later!

  • Sweet. You should post a video. If you do, drop a comment so I'll know.

  • what part? im in genenva.

  • where in NY are you?

  • Nice ride man, love the sound too, many happy niles ahead of you i hope.

  • Thanks. I put almost 3 thousand miles on this year.

  • thats a beautiful bike! Quick question though. How tall are you and how does it fit you?

  • I like the sound, I got a 07 1200r and im in between the rush or vance and hines. Hows the weather? Im from rochester but now live in south carolina, Can ride all year around

  • If you go with the Vance & Hines go for the short shorts. The up side to the rush slip-on mufflers is that you don't have to do anything else to your bike, but if you get the Vance & Hines pipes you have to some additional modifications with the computer. As far as the weather goes here, it has been raining 3 to 4 days a week with the chance of rain almost everyday. I still manage to sneek in some riding in between rain showers.

  • Awsome bike! That sound is music to my ears :)

  • Nice Bike! LOL I have same one incl paint, rack & sissy bar. Get the sundowner. You will sit higher & further back but you can ride it for more than the 1.5 hrs the stock seat allows before butt scream. Have 1961 mi on it & engine is getting better all the time. Will pick it up tomorrow with Stage 1 intake, power commander & Rush slipons 2". Can't wait!

  • Yeah, I think the sundowner seat will be one of the next things I buy. I have almost 2100 miles on mine. Let me know how the intake & power commander perform on the bike.

  • Well I gotta say, after a few days of riding this has been a huge improvement in performance. It's a lot louder than I expected LOL. Especially beacuse you can hear the stage one gulping air. The power commander really shows it's stuff once you enter mid RPM from there to the limiter it's very aggressive. The bike flys now. My buddy has a Guzzi Breva 1100 & I have no problem staying next to him to 100. So far I am way happy with it.

  • You should post a video of your bike and how it sounds. Do you think that the new intake & power commander increase the loudness of the bike?

  • what is the diameter of the rush baffles 1.50 1.25 ?

  • To be honest with you I'm not sure. I was wondering that myself. when I selected the Rush slip-ons I wasn't even told that baffles come in differnt sizes. I found that out later that day when I went to the website. I heard another bike at the Harley dealer with them on and told them that's the sound I'm looking for. Then they just put them on. I can look at my bill of sale, it should be on there. The parts guy tried to talk into SE slip-ons but they don't sound as good or as loud.

  • I asked the salesman and he said they are 2" baffels.

  • luv it!!!!!!! ^0^

  • i live near buffalo and I am looking into a 1200 low. Is the ride very comfortable? How is the throttle response?

  • It rides awesome, but I haven't taken it on the expressway yet because you're not suppose to take it over 55 MPH for the first 500 miles. I've obviously gone over 55 already but not for lone periods of time. The throtle response is excellent. My old bike was a bit smaller. I also have Rush Slip-ons on it which not only sound fantastic but they add more horse power and torque, more than the screamin eagles.

  • I have an 06 custom and I love it. I did get the HD sundowner seat. The seat makes it even better.

  • I'm considering a new seat. It would definitely make a long ride more comfortable. I'll look into the sundowner. Thanks.
