ouch they said rachel was nerfed, but if you look at tager thats even worse.. that combo he did near start of rebel 1 would normally do nearly half a bar in CT and instead it did truly rachel worthy damage lol.

i play as both rachel and carl mainly in CT so I might still Carl as my main, Rachel sub in this version.

p.s. to those who said carl was useless without loop infinite ur wrong, he now does more damage compared to other chars in each combo and has a long range projectile.

I think all they need to do is raise Rachel's damage output a bit, and make her jumping a an overhead move, then she'll be fine. That or just return the frog to normal while only slightly raising his damage from what it does now.

I agree with the damage being raised a little she can do over 3k with meter but it's harder to do now. J2c is an overhead it's just unsafe on block also I seen an video were he use the B hit for an overhead to start a combo. It's better than nothing and I think her pumpkin activates faster in the air than on ground. The frog doesn,t need change that was one of the reason her combos were so long and made near endless pressure. She may need a slight buff I'm still going to use her.

I think what sucks the worst for her (And it's sad cause I'm a Tager player and should be HATING Rachel) is that she needs 4 winds just to do just as much damage as any other character in the game.

Well her rushdown is pretty much worthless in this game due to J2C being nerfed, and 3C no longer giving frame advantage (those itself is a 50/50 after wind) they really need to keep the frog the way it is right now because she can pressure from a distance now, and plus with the new sword iris notation she can do in the air.

They need to buff her a bit, especially with her damage as you said; right now I think her defense is just as good if not worse than Lambda's defense.

If you're that concerned about tiers, the list for CS is much closer than that of CT so far.

I think people put too much stock into tiers. In CT, if I wanted to have fun, I played as Bang, Noel, or Nu. If I wanted to play to win, I used Jin. In CT, I'll probably play as Jin/Tsubaki/Lambda. If people want to S tier it in CS, that's their prerogative, but from what I've seen, it's pretty damn balanced. Even Rachel tier Rachel seems surprisingly usable.

Carl = from C tier to A tier

Rachel = vice-versa

English localization is going to have a re-recorded announcer they actually intended to put into CT but didn't. Same as Kokonoe's voice actor, Kari Wahlgren I believe.
