  • the bands played even at night. hard to sleep with all that rock and roll.l

  • check out the full HD version video of richie haven's freedom at my channel ! peace ♥

  • PEACE PEACE PEACE PEACE PEACE motherless child or freedom THE FU.. SAME......do you wanna fight ?? not here please. ;-)

  • I was there. Didn't get there till Joe Cocker was up. the very first thing I heard was the openning organ notes of "A Little Help" echoing across the valley. The PA towers were awesome in their ability to carry the music loud n' clear into everyone's ears and I was standing on the upper edge of the valley near the concessions at the time. Could barely see Cocker gyrating onstage. So tiny ..but you could hear him just fine. Louder than life!

  • @JubaL609 Obviously not

  • @EleanorMcCartney "obviously not" ...regarding what?

  • Funny that Bob Dylan snubbed the festival, despite basically living right around the corner.

  • @Corbon440 One of his children was supposedly sick with appendicitis, or so the story goes. Whether or not thats the truth we will never know.

  • Holy fuck, shut up. Shut the fuck up. Your narration is useless,

  • 0:50 name song name band ?

  • @antipuc1 richie havens, motherless child

  • @koala381 the name of song is freedom

  • @trollraider it is actually freedom/motherless child ;)

  • @antipuc1 nome of song in freedom

  • can this bimbo shut up and let people speak who witnessed this era

    greetz from belgium

  • Pfffffft... ..The Who. Fuck those greedy dick heads. Some played for free. None were well known.

  • @harlesslee The Who is one of the greatest rock acts of all time. You shut your mouth mister.

  • why is that blonde in pink narrating this?

  • They forgot to mention sly and the family stone!!

  • Tell that bitch to shut up and let the music PLAY.

  • No mention of Canned Heat who did an amazing performance at Woodstock and whose song Going up the County became the Woodstock anthem !

They were the legends of Woodstock.

  • 1:19 is hot, but probably in her 60's now...

  • who else got that shity progressive ad where there dancing?? daum i hate that one

  • only one crucial band was absent there - THE BEATLES. such a pity :-( :-( :-(

  • @MichalFokt The Beatles no doubt should've been there. They revolutionized rock music during the mid '60s with great guitarists such as Jimmy Hendrix along with Jimmy Page and other greats who followed within five years of their arrival in the US.

  • save the world kill the people

  • @heavenlypimp ..........EAT THE PEOPLE

  • fuck you commercials !

  • It's time for something new; you tube sucks: commercials, commercials, commercials

  • woodstock was about the shared experience of drugs

  • @bonkswa i hate how people refer to the "drugs" when you say something about Woodstock. It was about peace love and music.

  • @jspider27393 and obviousely drugs, how could people else be so naive about peace? did they really thought that sitting around on a field and letting some addicts play some songs would make the world a better place?

  • @bonkswa well, more then a million people got together and there died only 3 people, one fell asleep in front of a tractor one got a ruptured spleen and last one i can't remember, i do think that that is ultimate peace, you try to do that in 2011 you'd have a gazillion rapes murders and other nasty stuff

  • @TheGarryModder because everyone was baked, and no because not everything is about 'peace'.

peace is something for people who don't dare to fight for themselves (or to lazy)

  • @bonkswa so you are saying that fighting is a good thing?

I say lets all get baked then =3

  • @TheGarryModder yes. If a lion attacks you, would you let him eat you?

  • @bonkswa there is a difference, humans just kill eachother for luxury products like oil they don't need and lion has to eat because he otherwise won't survive, we can survive without killing eachother

  • @TheGarryModder but some people hate you and want to kill you. What do you do?

  • Time machine plz.

  • NO WAY Hendrix was playing in front of 180,000 people. Just look at the film clips! It looks like it wasn't even a quarter of that size.

  • @Weasler455 you got that right my friend, it was not 180,000 people but 35,000 only.

  • @kalithran In looking at that crowd, I'm going to guess 10,000 AT MOST.

  • I give my soul to the devil to know that time. I hate my parents for making me too late:)

  • wish all the adverts would fuck off

  • i wish all this guys go 2 vietnan

  • WHAT ABOUT THE BEST BAND THERE???theWHO???????????

  • Now Woodsock is only in Poland

  • I wonder if that girl takes it up the 'ol poop hole.

  • If you loved Woodstock, you'll love HAPPINESS RUNS:

You can put it on your Netflix Q now or order on Amazon.com

  • can this fuckin bitch shut the fuck up? wanna hear the fuckin music. not her nagging.
