about a 100. yeah its just a tiny bar in london. its the second time theyve played there. this show was the first time they had ever played their new material live infront of fans. it was a secret gig just to practice their new songs really.
O. My. I can't believe THE WAIT!! I really believe that this next album will be better than the first. How, when their first was so great? I really dunno, but from, YOU FOUND ME, SYNDICATE, HAPPINESS, and of course ENOUGH FOR NOW. I just think that these songs are just really raw and emotional. This album WILL definately be the high-light of their career in my opinion. Oh, and what's a "chi-chi"???? I'm play the piano and I've had days like he's described, but I've never calle dit a "chi-chi"!!
He was saying "cheat sheet". As in he sticks hand-written notes to himself on his keys to remind him to do things, like "stay focussed" and "smile". He was trying to be funny.

nah no way!!!! the fray tour all over the country dont they..so say you live in errrr devonshire...it would take no more than 3 hours to travel to portsmouth for a gig. and if errrr you lived in leicester...takes an hour to get to nottingham to see them, live in manchester...20 mins to get to the MEN...north wales...an hour or 2 to get to liverpool. see what i mean???
if they do a one off gig in london say then yeah it could take 8 hours to get from north scotland, i agree
plymouth to london by any kind of transport is between 4 and 5 hours yeah. they actually played in plymouth early last year, so its right on your doorstep. the point i was making is that in the UK at some time or another the fray will always play nearby, whereas in america the closest they may play could be hours n hours n hours away.
and if you cant get tickets to a local gig its no hardship going to another one in another city for us in the UK compared to the US
i haven't seen that the fray have been on anywhere in the uk recently apart from london this month and in january... they better come back soon though cos i really wanna see em :)
No you're right, they have only performed in London once this year and will be at the scala in february 09. Before the borderline they were last in the uk in november 2007 while on tour.
thank you guys so much for posting so many videos from this gig.
and about the one-off gig at the Scala- you can find a bit of info about it on their website. the pre-sale for the gig started yesterday, if i'm not mistaken...
the fray played in the uk before the 2006 borderline visit. it was around october 2006. i think it may have been at the mean fiddler, but i may be mistaken.
isnt the mean fiddler just a promotion company and owner of venues..like they own the borderline. there isnt a venue actually called the mean fiddler is there i dont think? pretty sure its just a company.
benny m and i went to see maroon 5 at the mean fiddler on their first uk tour. the mean fiddler is a small venue the size of the borderline next door to the astoria

Oh i see, i suppose the only perk of living in the UK is that the longest you will have to travel for a fray gig is 3 hours at the very most.
mattminnis 3 years ago
Actually.. it could take up to 8 hours.. Trust me. :P

yeah i got my ticket a few days ago, are you going?
mattminnis 3 years ago
no, sadly. I live over here in the sunny USA.
None of their pre-album gigs are going to be anywhere close to where I live. like, they will be states away.
so I'm just going to have to rely on everyone's videos until they start a full tour. :)
