OK, so Marty Rathbun was a "violent, psychotic man" because he would routinely beat up people...and yet she didn't divorce or separate from him? On top of that, she didn't report him to police? Was there even a written Knowledge Report dated from that time informing Miscavige about these incidents?

The cult lady was more concerned about emphasizing Miscavige's absence at time of the abuses (as if that relieves him of responsibility and secures his innocence).

There's no "probably" about it. All parties involved have admitted this to be a FACT. From Tommy Davis & Scientology atty, to Rathbun's ex-wife, Norman Starkey, etc., say this was known, reported on & one reason why David Miscavige outed him.

So Anderson Cooper's 360 show title, "Scientology: A History of Violence" is now not just a claim or allegation but an established TRUTH & it was COVERED UP. The question now is whether DM was also involved in the beatings & violence.

Are you referring to Starkey's comment or DeVocht's own (or both)? I think the sole point of mentioning the pope in their examples is to equate Miscavige's position in the Church of Scientology with that of the head of Roman Catholicism, i.e. they're both leaders of their respective churches. I never interpreted the pope comments as acknowledgment of Scientology as a religion or that the two leaders have personal similarities.
