People...do NOT try to treat your pain with eating less fat. This only has mild success. Your gallbladder may get to the point where it becomes a "porcelain" gallbladder. There is some proof that this causes gallbladder cancer, which is deadly, with the most being a year to live. Do not risk cancer. This surgery is one of the most performed and one of the safest. I will be having this surgery soon. Better surgery than a risk of cancer. The best to you all and God bless.
@asitbon yeah my husband almost died, because he kept putting the surgery off. His surgeon told him had he waited another month, I would have been making funeral arrangements. He is a health nut by the way. I had mine out. I too am a very healthy eater, and I have had mine out. An infection set up in mine and spread to my liver. I collapsed at my parents house one night. I ended up in the hospital on high dose antibiotics for 5 days at risk for liver failure over it.
I have been suffering gallbladder pain for months now and I was stupid and didn't get help until about a month ago. I'm 18 years old. I think I'm a bit too young to be having this kind of pain. But I went in for my radioactive dye test today and my gallbladder is completely dead, It's not working at all, I have been having serious attacks most of today and i'm tired as can be. My doctor recommended surgery and thats exactly what i'm going to do. I bless all of those who go through the pain.
@xXxScareFactoryxXx wow. im 25 and i was just diagnosed with gall stones too. i was told i need surgery, im suposed to meet him in a couple of days to determine wha ti have to do next. My attacks are not as painful , the pain is very mild, but i get bloated and thats what doesnt let me sleep, because of all the gas. but i think i am going to get surgery to. and i will stick to a no fatty kind of diet. Im asuming you already had your surgery..tell me how it'd go? and how are u feeling now? :)
I have had my surgery, and I havent had that pain again. I was told I only had one stone and my gallbladder was extremely inflamed and it was odd in my case. I have not had any pain since I healed. It will hurt to move to sit up, to cough to sneeze. But honestly in the end it's worth it. I do get acid reflex but thats normal for me. Also quarter cup apple cider viniger and a cup of apple juice and the pain goes away. Honestly it sounds super gross but it was beyond helpful.
I have Gallbladder disease with Cholangits and Pancreatitis all three pains combined at once is hell on earth morphine is the only thing to help the pain everything else wont work and most painkillers (especially that horrible Omeprezal) brings on the pains worse. Doctors don't give a shit about the pain that you are in but I'd love to see them have it.
@paulwilsonmusician: Which type of cholangitis do you have, ascending, recurrent pyogenic, primary or secondary sclerosing? Also what caused your Pancreatitis: gallstones, alcohol, mumps, autoimmune, hypercalcaemia trauma, steroids, high triglyceride, drugs?
@4chango my cholangitis is a recurrent one and it's all caused by major weightloss due to that my gallbladder worked overtime making stones and they got trapped and caused infection of the bilary tract and as a result i have recurrent pancreatitis because of it :(
@paulwilsonmusician: Currently on my channel another health issue is being address and starting tomorrow one I was ask to deal with fluoride and the pineal gland. If possible I will try to post the naturopathic approach for the gallbladder, gall stones and I will add certain things that will help e pancreas. Keep in mind that due to time and request I will only leave it posted for few days. So just keep checking the channel - it should be posted within the next few days or sooner.
what else are you eating besides fruits & veggies and tons of water? & did you lose tons of weight for doing this for a few months?? I just started my non fat, non sugar, non taste "livet" I hate the word Diet... Anyway, I have had no problems today after being in the ER last night thinking I was going to DIE... I have been googling different gallbladder nutrition & they seem to be saying different things.. I am so confused!! A lot of the sites say to stay away from certain veggies & fruits..
@kimmakeup: Maybe if I have time I will post a naturopathic approach soon on my channel. Next week I might not be able to dpost it because of all the requests, but stay posted.
im gettin my gallbaldder removed in a week or 2. I am 12 years old, and not over weight. i have pain constent. n i do not have gallstones. yet they r just geussing about the gallbladder... there not sure its it?
Well i got rushed to the emergency roon at 3 am with pain like i never had b4, come to find out after all kinds of tsts and such , that i going to need to have my gall bladder removed, its now march 27th and my surgery not until jun1rst, just wondering if there is anything i should do to prep my self up for the surgery day , any help would be well appreciate it, i started a low fat diet TODAY and lookingto lose at least 25/35 lbs by then, thanks in advance...cheers,
I had my gall bladder out when I was 19. I would highly recommend surgery to anyone; it's an easy procedure and a quick recovery. And you'll never have to worry about the excruciating pain again!
i get the pain every 2 months and i want to have my gall bladder removed the pain is agonizing. think im due to get it again so i will go to the hospital again soon =/ :( bad times
I'm in lots of pain right now... I've had these pains recurring once every 1-3 month for 4 years. I'm only 21 too. Whats the best method to get rid of the pain. I always just did a 0 fat diet. It always seemed to work but i was wondering if anybody knew any methods to get immediate relief.
I had to go to the ER the first time this happened to me. It's a clenching pain and a bizzare disoriented feeling.
I just had one tonight and am now feeling better after stretching, taking 3 chewable aspirin, and going for a 40 minute walk (is was midnight and 2 degrees outside which shows how desperate I was).
All three attacks I have had happened after days of intense stress and drinking alcohol (red wine) and eating fast food. Don't do it!
Same with me. Stress, drinking, alcohol, fast food. My sleep cycle changes a lot too since I'm still a student. I do the exact same thing to relieve the pain... the coldness doesn't even affect you cause the pain is so intense. Good to hear that i'm not the only young guy out there. I'm not even overweight.
@ScaryCannibalTrout1 same thing happened to me yesterday I thought I was dying for real. The pain was so intense I thought my body went into shock or something and I almost passed out.
@MrBMVoyles this happened to me too. the same thing I thought i was going to pass out as well. I remember recalling to myself that it felt like I was in labor but it was in my stomach. Ladies know what labor pain is like but the pain in a totally higher area in the abdomen with gallbladder attack.
d olive oil & apple juice solution can only stop d pain but stl d gallstones r stl der, i've tried d epsom salt diet & i passed some stones & den hav my ultrasound but i was shock d stones r stl der all i can say s try rowachol & usosan tablets, it helps 2 dissolve d gallstones!!!
imwas 15 when i had my gaulbladder removed and thank god i did, i was getting these horrible pain attacks where i was in so much pain i was just moaning it was horrible never felt like that before i couldnt breath and i was sweating all over it was just immediate pain that lasted an hour then just disappeared in a minuite and i was fine so i got mine out, i guess yours wasnt that bad so be glad
Wow! I just finished my gall bladder cleanse...and, I was truly AMAZED at, how many gallstones I've discharged in the past 3hrs.! It had to be over 100 green stones!!! I never knew that, I had all of those stones built up inside of me for all of these years!!! I'm not experiencing upper right abdominal pain or, belching as much as, I used to, anymore, also! I'm soooo excited about it! I recommend this to anyone whom are experiencing upper right abdominal/gall bladder pain! ;-)
im glad you ok now, im 17 and a guy but ive heard from various people and from a nurse that gallbladder pain ranks up there with pregnancy as far as the pain goes.
I hope your well now.Did they suggest removal or blasting your stones .You should watch your diet also,no fats processed foods sugars sodas .Lots of greens organic juices oatmeal.I had one of those attacks and was in the hospital for 3 days recovering.Take care
i found this drink online that you can make at home - which helped me a lot - after i narrowed down which types of foods inflammed my g.b causing the attacks, i was able to prepare this drink and have in my system and it would relieve every single attack - Boil 2 cups of organic apple juice, 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar - and a nice large piece of organic fresh ginger - grate the ginger on a cheese grater into the juice while boiling - combine 1 teaspoon of olive oil
i had my gallbladder removed a few years ago - but i wanted to share this with people who are either in the process of waiting to have their g.b removed - and / or living with g.b attacks -
i was six months pregnant with my daughter when i had my first attack. when she was about 2-3weeks old i had my gallbladder removed. i would have rather given birth to my daughter again than go threw that. i know what you went threw.
I have just found out i have gallstones i have had apin between my shoulder blades for a while now and also back pain i also feel sick alot! Can you get rid of the stones any other way but surgery as i am asthmatic i am a bit scared to get knocked out thanks j
gallstones can be very serious and you should be careful in not electing surgery. What works for me to be very careful about not eating anything with fat or sugar in it. I also make certain I drink a full eight glasses of water every day.

its very bitter at first - and you pretty much will gag - but half way through the drink, you will actually acquire a taste for it
it fills you up - it stops the attacks
and i think you can lose weight from it
i did
hope that helps.
