She later fired Baker claiming she was not loyal to the new administration. Maybe nothing is there but it's awful suspicious. She then rescinded it after the people caught on.

Palin turned her town election from non-partisan to something driven by evangelical social conservatives.
She has a long record of firing public officials and replacing them with close friends from her church movement, or political cronies.

Troop deployment: He is against funding the war, but when it comes down to it he will finance the troops.
