I know we might be a ways off, but you guys will have to do a car/lap time challenge with F1 2010, even though it may not be a hardcore SIM. I bet that will get a lot of competition, and I know I'd tell all my 360 buds about it and we may have quite a good battle for a flying lap.

You should have just used the "Fanatec Rennsport Wheel Stand Shifter Adapter" to mount your shifter. No modding necessary. Mine is attached to my rig using the included hardware from Fanatec.

When I heard about the Go Kart part in GT5, I was a little bit excited about it. It might sound strange, but I'd rather they didn't put it in if the Kart's going to handle the way it looked in the video. The wheels were locking up, but it was like it was the front wheels and he slid straight into the wall?!

Again, might sound strange, but for me if they're going to put it in, they could at least get it close to how a Kart would handle.

Here's to hoping it's an early build for the Kart option

Great episode guys. I really enjoyed your league race report as there is precious little, good quality, replay footage of actual human racers competing against each other. Look forward to more of that.

That's also my favorite track in GT5 Prologue and GTR2 (downloadable) so it was also nice to see it in another game.

@wesclev83 The difficulty in getting accurate interior scans has already been explained. Yamauchi-san has said that if he cannot get authentic modelling data for a vehicle then, because he is a perfectionist, he doesn't want to put sub-standard interior models in the game.

I was initially disappointed to hear about the standard vs. premium issue myself, until I came to understand how difficult and time-consuming it was to create those authentic high-definition interior models.

its always a bit hard to judge things like sound or the driving model in general under such noisy conditions.
