That is some of the most exciting action while hunting that I have ever seen! I actually took a whitetail while he was fighting his twin. Couldn't decide which one was bigger and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Don't listen to these idiots trashing you. We are hunters. Do all animals have to be asleep before we shoot and why do they have to know we are there? I will (and have) shot deer on the run and that were chased. Just part of hunting. Great video! Great shot! It's a thrill isn't it! The same thing happened to me but they were 50 yards. The bull that I had shot kept fighting until finally he died and the other bull didn't know what happened then ran. It was amazing

I'll be truthful, very amazing footage and I'm certain no man nor woman would refute that. Being an outfitter you should probably know harvesting any wild animal while their heart rate is maxed out, for instance this situation, rapidily burns the marblization in the muscle. Thus, creating the toughest meat imaginable. Great hunting story but your not a sportsman, your a opportunistic ungrateful scavenger.

Also...this video demonstrates the prudence of mounting a quality rest that solidly captures the arrow and holds it steady while elk hunting. Could tell what style of rest this guy had, but notice how much moving around he had to do. Also factor in Rocky Mountain wind and about a half a dozen other commonly encountered variables on an elk hunt, and you get the picture. An elk hunt is no place for delicate equipment.

On a side note, I'd like to see this guy shoot a heavier arrow.
