  • an adult clown to a very small sea anemone! XD BANZAI!

  • LOL Dive bomb

  • I can't see the food

  • aww how cute

  • Cool Video!

That's either a very fat clown fish or a very small anemone. Funny to watch the clownfish crashing into the anemone as it feeds it.

I am amazed all that diving and smashing the clown fish is doing doesn't hurt the anemone. Are Anemones highly resilient to damage? Do they get bruised or scared easily?

  • Anemones are pretty hardy to impact. Its like trying to hurt a piece of leather with tentacles.

  • I made my undergradute thesis regarding sea anemones. and from my experience, you can slice them in HALF and still they survive. And the most from my experience is that one actually became MANY when a classmate of mine placed one of my specimens in blender! >.> 1 anemone became.... teeny hundreds...

  • o.o

  • There is a hermit crab near the anemone

  • what kind of anemone???

  • how long did it take your clownfish to host your anemone, when did your clownfish start feeding it

  • The clowns were in the tank before I added the anemone and took to it straight away, feeding it right from the start . It was almost as though they were waiting for one to come along.

  • Clownfish feed the anemone that they host in return for the protection amongst its stinging tentacles. Its a symbiotic relationship. My clown is feeding mysis shrimp to the nenny. They can cost from £20 upwards.

  • is he feeding him sperm!? XD

  • lmao

  • Is the clown really feeding the anemone? if yes, What is he feeding?

  • Yes i would like to know what kind of anemone that is as well:) pls reply:)

  • The anemone is known in the trade as a Bubble Tip anemone. There are various colour morphs of it. In the absence of an anemone clownfish will host other corals and have even been known to host powerheads.

  • thanks! Yes the two oscellaris clowns i have host a seashell i bought in hawaii. I'm looking to get an anemone for them, just don't know which kind i want for them yet:)

  • are anemone expansive? where can i learn about them and how to keep them in my aquriuem?

  • @PDodd My clownfish loves the powerhead. Don't come near his precious powerhead!!! :D

  • what kind of anemone is that?

  • you got some algae problems there.

  • He's not feeding it he's hording the food for himself. I got the same fish and he does that with his live rock cave.

  • Hording it for him self? its not a hamster fukin crack me up ppl on you tube done know shit about anything but still comment ppls vids

  • nice anomine

  • Looks like a clown fish and his trampoline lol he is so cute!

  • Have you ever been bitten by your clowns when servicing the tank?

  • I have! my female is mean! (i have two oscellaris clowns). Usually it doesn't hurt, but every once in a while it does. The male is docile as a lamb tho:)

  • Do Clown fish really feed their anemome???

  • Yes seeing as it's their home. They want it to grow and live

  • yea they go and find food and bring it back to the anenome so they can live together

  • Damn cant wait till my paired clowns host my anemone.

  • how much for the clown fish house jk o cant spel what it really is

  • lolz he is ffeding her cause is much bigger than her !

  • Reminds me of my clownfish feeding it's host coral. Most of the time they missed.

  • thats awesome, do u still have to feed it ureself or does the clownfish do all the work for you?

  • he certainly isnt being gentle

  • clown fish are cute when they adore anemone

  • What is the anemone? Species..

  • That is really great .If this is a repeatable behavior you should shoot a sequence with a wide angle or move the camera back a bit to show the fish taking the mysis shrimp. I have never seen this behavior. You could research it to see if anyone else has documented it. Great video post more like it.

  • I had a Clarke in my tank and he used to take bits of food and fish to the bubble he lived in! It was very handy! lol

  • Very cool thanks Getting a 33 gallon freshwater fish tank in 3 months and then nxt xmas i will get a nano reef (hopefully)

  • Whats he feeding it

  • She's carrying pieces of mysis shrimp to the anemone. They feed the anemone in return for the anemone offering protection amongst its stinging tentacles.

  • Just looks like its bouncing in and out of it.

  • Awesome!
