Have you been in town since then? They've done a lot of work on the freeways recently. Diamond grinding, repaving ramps, etc. It's much smoother. Unfortunately, they haven't gotten around to the 8 yet.
ScrewdUP this is another best video from you.It seems as if you make only the best videos not less than that lol. This one is filled with everything, there are palms, trees, cars, trolleys, useful pop ups, informations about everything one who is not a resident eventualy would have to know when get there. You have a quality to put yourself in a perspective of a man who is not a resident and seek for as much infos as he can get in a foreign city.Someone like me for instance. That's a quality definitely.
@JohnRhysMusician i wouldnt mind living in san diego myself , its one of the better city's i have visited. one thing that i found impressive about san diego is that the area is green for such a big city.
@ScrewdUPClickV2 San Diego is a lot less developed than areas to the north. San Diego County has a much smaller population than LA County and Orange County. LA County and Orange County are the most populous in the state, and LA County is the most populous in the entire country. Most of my former hometown, Los Angeles, is very ugly.
@JohnRhysMusician intresting to think of it that way , i can see maybe since you have lived there for a while i assume it gets old and boring . but on my note the whole state of california was amazing .. certanly far from ugly . i drove around a little bit in southern los angeles which is suppose to be rundown and trashy , haha look like the ritz to me .
@ScrewdUPClickV2 Trust me. Most of Los Angeles County is ugly. Much of far North Orange County mirrors Los Angeles County. I had the priviledge of living in a beautiful area, La Canada Flintridge, but places like Inglewood, Compton, Crenshaw, East L.A., Watts, much of Long Beach, much of the San Fernando Valley, etc. is simply depressing and reminicent of the third world. The culture and the demography of Southern California has changed a lot since my grandfather moved to Cali in 1974.
@litrojan You are right, the roads in NYC and Chicago are the worst in the country. The Merritt Parkway in Fairfield County, CT is a really beautiful drive, especially in the fall, and Lake Shore Drive/Sheridan Road in Chicago is my favourite drive in the country any time of year with Lake Michigan, Skyscrapers and Lakefront Estates lining the route up to and through Southern Wisconsin.
@RoboRisu its not always about the raod geek part . i always take into consideration to these types of video make you feel like your there at the current moment , and maybe you will get the chance to see something that you may never get to see in your lifetime .
Great video as always. BTW, what do you use to design the green signs you display at the exits? I'd like to do something similar for my videos. Kudos again and thanks in advance for your response.
@Freewayjim I guess. If he really wanted to use that effect he should have used it somewhere else. Something less wouldn't be 'underkill' but I guess I don't find that to be complimenting the video. But obviously I can't change anything he does nor do I want to. And I understand, you can't please everybody.
@FreewayTitan I don't maddog your productions. I would not do it to your videos in the comment page. Appreciate what you get. If you sponsor me I would take my effects elsewhere. Until that happens im sry but I would love to produce my vids from wat I think looks good. And occasionally interests of some of my viewers on here. Apparently I didn't satisfy you this time I'm sorry. However I can help you out one way. It's called google earth. Take a look at the interchange from there
@FreewayTitan Don't talk down on my boy ScrewdUpClick like that now, he went from crumbs to bricks on this freeway shit, he didn't get to where he's at now by being boring and lazy. He puts work into his videos and his editing is great. (I taught him by the way) I don't like freeway videos, they don't interest me at all really, but my boy ScrewdUpClick makes them worth watching even to the person who isn't necessarily a freeway freak. So bow down or get shut down....kno sayin
@ScrewdUPClickV2 Um, inverted effects are more annoying than anything else. I don't really see how they attract a new audience. There's already a specific target audience here (roadfans), and I'm not aware of a tacky color-change audience. :P
@KEKInc -That's an unfair comment IMO, I use effects too, why stifle someone's creativity? I like what he did with the effects, they work with the type of music that was used. It may not be perfect for you, but hey, you can't please everyone, right? And yes the effects may attract new people who appreciate the mix of music and scenery with a touch of vibrance, there are more people out there who watch these videos for reasons other than roads.
@KEKInc well im sorry i wasnt able to satisfy your viewing of this video .. im sure there are plenty of my viewers here that like to see some creativity in my vids and actual video effects occasionaly , this is not something i do all the time ,you have to change things up or some people get bored , occasionaly you get people such as your self that do not appreciate it , but then again you have a few that did see below . i do appreciate your input , and this is why i do not do this all the time
@KEKInc i appreciate your input , i understand your approach and opinions and respect them . i do appreciate your intrests in watching my video's. hopefully you will keep staying with me , i see your from san jose, ca ive got a few vids coming soon from your area .thanks again .
@ScrewdUPClickV2 Awesome. I live in Seattle now, and I've lived in both the Portland Metro Area and South Bay Area for the last 6 years (I grew up in the South Bay Area, though). Frankly, I like the road quality and hardware better up in Washington state, but the road design and interchanges are better in California. Texas seems to have awesome flyovers, though.
