Final Fantasy Versus XIII Trailer Extended NEW

Well, it's possible that this video and a bit of background research on the game has restored my faith in Square Enix.

The faith that was so painfully shattered by the astronomical failure of a game that they dared call Final Fantasy XIII. That game should not have been graced with the title "Final Fantasy." Awful characters, awful plot, mediocre gameplay. The incredible graphics didn't even come close to making up for all of that.

But this... this is promising.

Well,this looks promising from what I can see,but at the same time Final Fantasy XIII looked incredible too until most people played and realized that at its core was mediocre,however this looks like a complete overhaul of story,and possibly gameplay.

I don't think xbox360 is to "weak" for this game, instead this game is optimized for the ps3 hardware and can't easily be ported. To play on Xbox360 this game need to be ported and optimized, the required disc space is not a problem since you can force the needed data to be installed on the hdd from multiple dvd:s.

FF its a serie of romance, tragedy, friendship. They name their own serie FF and use a number according to how many "episodes" are out. FF as it is, is unique on its own way. It'd be normal for them to put numbers to every game rather than looking for more letters. Many names are taken after all ^^

@ameend1 That's because they wanted to keep it on one disk on each system because Xbox players find that a turn off and developers see this when their game barely sell one million copies on the 360 and twice that on the PS3. Now Microsoft has a new disk format in development that can hold twice as content as the previous one. And if the developer really wanted to fit more content that they couldn't on the disk they could do the same thing rage did.

Final Fantasy is actually owned and developed by Square Enix. It is they who decide which platforms they are going to develop for, based on arrangements/agreements made between them and the owners of the platforms i.e. Nintendo, Sony etc. Whilst the first FF came out for Nintendo, some of the best came out for PlayStation only. At the end of the day it's Square making these awesome games. Just appreciate the talent that Square has. GTFO fanboys.

to me final fantasy 13 was the absolute worst ff out of them all, because its always been the story thats most important in a final fantasy game. yet final fantasy 13 told the story in such an extremely dumb way (you had to read up a LOT to get why cutscenes happened and what happened inbetween them, which is a ridiculously bad way of telling a story). if they dont change that for this game, its going to suck again. what were they thinking, storytelling is almost EVERYTHING in final fantasy
