  • @tweetnes That was a chapel on the site where the city of Belozersk was founded in ancient times, photographed in 1909. Clothes bore much more importance in those times than folks seem to apply today...

  • Wow!!! Cool you did this Pappy! Doesn't it boggle the mind these were take 100 years ago?! They are like National Geographic quality of today! Looking at the Armenian woman, I wonder, did she survive the genocide? Does she have grandchildren alive today? You wonder how different our world could have been had the Russian Revolution not happened. The what ifs all come to mind. Thanks Pappy!

  • @PappyStu Those are defiantly colorized. Color pics from the early days were mostly warm tones.
