if its a 2-stroke its not destroyed. as long as you get the water out quickly and warm up the engine so the water will vapor off you can run it afterwards. if its a 4-stroke however you gotta drain all the oil refill it run the engine and drain it again until the oil isnt milky colored.

absolutely agreed... no motor on this world (except electric motors) are directly destroyed if they accidently got flooded if you take all the water out directly and keep it warm afterwards there should be no problem... check out ma vids... LG

look if you roll a jet ski you have to roll them over back onto their right way round either clockwise or anticlockwise depending on crank positions and whatnot, on my xl700 (check video if you want to buy) it tells you on the back which way to right it, this guy righted it the wrong way and thus causing this shit to occur

That motor is not destroyed, Its just filled with water. That can happen alot and not cause damage as long as you get all the water out. Then ride it to warm up the engine to make sure there is no water left. Looks like your burning out the starter good though.
yea i just put that to be dramamtic... its still going strong!! just sucked cause it only had 10 hours on it. It actually runs strong, does almost 70mph

Yup it was brand new... One of our renters flipped it, and then rolled it over the wrong way. Which sucks water directly into the motor, And alot of it! Then the guy tried to lie and say the battery was dead and thats why it wouldnt turn over... Turns out the motor is completly filled with lake water!
deposit for sure... Yea if you roll it back over the wrong way the water runs in threw the exhaust and fills the motor! That motor is actually still running strong! 65+ MPH!! All we did was get all the water out and changed the oil about 10 times

2 and 3 cylinder skis have been known to have problems when started out of water but newer 4 cylinder engines are safe to start outta water
