  • Joe I gotta say, these absolutley killed my shoulders! I loved them, definetly incorporating these into my workouts reguarly now.

  • Look in the Background you can see Brian Cushing injecting HGH

  • a finisher, thats about it, also on 531

  • im liking the circuit. can you get 'Big' shoulders doing this? im asking because it must be hard to progress with weight or shorter rests.

  • i don't get how this works the rear delts. can someone please explain to me?? which one of the exercise works the rear delts?

    Thanks guys!

  • @DudeTheBeatle

The clean and press work your rear delts, I hit this as part of my accessory work for 5/3/1 and I think it's great, after some heavy overhead press and pull aparts this leaves my delts begging for mercy.

  • @hobbes63 queer. lol

  • siiiiiiick

  • looks good!

  • tried these today..holy fuck..my shoulder workouts will never be the same.. btw, can anybody identify the song in the second half of the video?

  • Thanks so much for this.. .such an awesome and deceiving exercise. After 4 sets of this I struggle to lift my water bottle to my face. Thumbs Up!!!

  • Go view Bryan Clemons workout 1 and 2. Great workouts to get ripped!!!

  • I just recently tacked this on for my shoulder work outs (other than shoulder shrugs) because i was having severe pain in my shoulders and colar bone area. Not any more, and i've only been doing it for a month. It works. First time my shoulders actually get 'pumped' in my work out. Now if this guy would show some other things that'd be sweet lol. My bi's heal by the next day no matter how hard i hit them, even to 'fail'.

  • Just tried these tonight and got a really good burn. I especially like the cleans and half presses that finish off the set. Thanks for the knowledge.

  • i've been having right front shoulder pain for a while now. if it's good enough for triple h, i'm definitely trying this.

  • Cool how much weight did Triple H use for this?

  • found this article on Tnation this morning. It said that doing this would resolve 90% of common shoulder pain. Gave it a shot (after 3 moderate sets of seated db presses) and man did i feel it. Have had a real pain deep within my right lateral deltoid head, and the external rotation of the 'hang clean' movement fired up the head properly. Took the pain right away. Definitely recommend this and props to big Joe

  • Kind of irrelevant....but that kid in the background with the hat PISSES me off. I absolutely HATE people like that in the weight room. Eyes on the prize, buddy. No need to stare for a minute straight...

  • @IDontCater You hate Mike Guadango? (That's him in the red hat)

  • @Lahed92801 I don't know who that is. But sorry...I'll be more clear. I hate what those types of people DO. I don't actually hate those people. :P

If he was part of the entourage or something....then fine. Again though, I have no idea who that is or anything.

  • @IDontCater A dime a dozen at every gym. Big shoulders and chest with bird legs...totally clueless to cardio conditioning probably as well.

  • @brettdavis261 You do know that Mike Guadango (the "kid" in the hat in this video) has a 520lbs squat (as per an OLD video on Joe D's youtube channel) and a 55 inch box jump right? And he's a trainer at Defranco's.

  • How many reps per exercise?

  • @RampageREDDEVIL 10-12 it says on the article.

  • One stupid question, there are a lot of shoulder exercises, but which one should I focus on to build some strength ?

Im working out for a year now, my shoulder muscles got bigger but I didnt gained the same amount of power there.

  • @Andreas163

    military press and DB press

  • Joe (or anyone)

Simple, I wanna get BULK and CUT fast as i can

how do I do it? is it easy as just busting your ass in the weight room? or is there more to it

    thanks, feedback plz

  • nice!! im gonna have condense my time down with that. Great combo!!

  • Billmayerblackbelt1 is dr bob martin..your a sad lonely man.. and SHUT THE FUCK UP!

  • Gine: Projection syndrome means that you are sad and lonely and say others are. I am not Dr. Bob but I think he rocks! Maybe you are also projecting here too and suffer from multiple personality disorder. Do you see a shrink now?

  • Bloggers: Some of you dissed Dr. Bob when he was trying to give you good information. Now he is gone 4ever!!! Dr. Bob is a wise man & a Guru of Knowledge! He has probably forgotten more than most of you will ever know! What can be an excuse for being so rude, either juicing bad stuff or getting hit in the head too many times? You should have kissed his butt!!! We all want the best workout and results possible, SO STOP BEATING UP PEOPLE when they have good info to share!

  • I m working on it : ) with lighter weights : )

  • You aint lying... Im getting a burn just watchin haha... Nice combo though Joe

  • Let's get back to watching this video, man just watching this is giving me a mad pump on my shoulder, hahahaha

  • lol @ these clowns arguing with each other on the internet.

  • Geenie: You are exhibiting signs of a classic projection syndrome. Frued would have had a field day with you. You didn't work at a Yale Lab cleaning mouse cages? Oh well, I must be getting you mixed up with someone else. You sir have a lot to learn about self control, anger management and dicipline. Try the Marines, I did! They will make a man out of you!

  • Ginemeister: R U Joe FeFranco's bodyguard or "bullyguard"? Dude, U R a cyberbully! Did you get the tar kicked out of you as a kid and now you want to make the world suffer? Joe can't even make any sense and you are made in his image. Unless you are him, or his evil twin. Dr. Bob was right, lifting a 45 lb plate in front of you in a seated position is DANGEROUS to your discs. This is biomechanics 101. Guess you missed that one bullyboy! Study & learn! Don't be a mindless gym rat 4ever!

  • Dangerous to your discus? How? There is no spinal loading during a front raises with a 45lbs plate. You would have to break this down for me!! Plus, watch how Joe performs the movement, torso in a ridged vertical position, probably with contracted abs to keep spinal erectors locked in to prevent from arching during the movement also causing abdominal pressure to feather stabilize the core (abs/low back)

  • Gine in the bottle: Are you drunk? I don't know my specified position? What are you talking about? Are you smoking wacky weed or what!

  • Joe: Do you have something against the 1st amendment? You blocked me from posting, so I got a new screen name. The truth is a hard pill to swallow!

  • Hummusbeast & Ginemeister; Dudes, you 2 are peas in the same pod. You make no sense at all and articulate your thoughts like cavemen. Cro-Magnons, move up to Homo-Sapiens. Can you make some points without insulting people in you gutter of existence? Evolve to using your frontal lobes instead of your amygdala (primitive brain) if you only speak "Muscle Gym English " (thanks Dr. Bob)!

  • So much roid rage going on here. I only hope the big body boys with small brains dont go off the deep end and kill those around them, like many have done in the past. Tsk Tsk.

  • hows that shoulder joe? i remember reading an article saying that your likely to need surgery on it in the future because its likely to get injured

    love the channel

  • Joe = Dana White + lots of time under the bar

  • lol i've done this before.

    you get outta breath

  • Is it me or has Joe got Mega-DIESEL in the last few months!

  • song name please

  • @Jeminz92 Ill Nino - Everything Beautiful

  • great range of motion...

  • Ginemaster: You have an anger management issue. Have you considered therapy? I am a doctor specializing in sports related injuries. The only thing I hate is misinformation. That is why I am seting the record straight. Consider yoga and dep breathing to control that adrenal rush. You are headed straight for an early myocardial event., which translates to heart attack in case you only speak "Muscle Gym English"

  • drbobmartin1: I am a doctor specializing in recognizing haters. You are a hater, which translates to "dick".

  • It is a shame that the cerebral content of these comments are that of a pre-adolescent. If anyone had any knowledge of physics and biomechanics, they would agree with me. The truth is 1st mocked, then aggressively opposed and finally accepted as common knowledge. I have no more use for this forum. God bye, good luck (you need luck when you are lacking knowledge) and GET A LIFE!!!

  • hahahaha your so gay

  • Joe: Lifting a plate like that at arm's length in front of you puts extensive repetitive trauma to the lumbar spine. This causes microtears to lumbar disks by putting an extreme torque load on the lumbar spine. This is basic biomechanics 101. This can cause a disc to bulge and eventually herniate. Yes, I am a doctor. What is the highest educational degree that you hold? In the seated position you take the load off of the facet joints and further load the discs by the hypolordosis. FYI

  • stop menstruating drbob

  • I ll do shoulders tomorrow : )

    looks like hard work ; ) : )

  • hey joe, personally i am a huge fan of what you do, i read your website all the time. I always hear mixed message regarding doing front delt work. some people say i should not do it since i do things like bench press/ bench press variations. could clear some things up for me? i really appreciate it. thank you

  • dude, really? have you ever taken physics? there is no torque force going on here rofl!

  • @drbobmartin1 i will give you on more warnings dr bob you dare mock joe again i will put u in a tub of honey put bees and ants on yous and have two sumos sandwhich you

  • how are you hitting rear delts in this?

  • Better watch out. The Asshole looks like he's as big as you now.

  • Tri-sets will get results... I will give it a shot !

    Thanks!

  • I'll definitely have to try this. My shoulder strength and endurance sucks
