You had a lucky save when you lost your general for warrior army then right after that you got a general for your tank army.

Invading a city that was just nuked is one of the worst ideas ever - all of your infantry would die of radiation poisoning, and anything near it would be killed by fallout.

What I find annoying about the enemy AI is the way they come and make threats at you after you've beaten them senseless. Its just bizarre that after having his capital nuked and captured Lincoln shows up and thinks he can blackmail you. Adding a humiliation factor into the game would be nice, affecting how the AIs fight, surrendering or giving in instead of needing to be beaten to death, of course you could refuse their pleas. Otherwise a damn good game.

Yep, curse of the drinking glass. Make sure you build your city into a horseshoe of mountains. Americans get a bonus in the modern age to factories which helps. Also, settle a builder great person in the city, go communism, and make sure beyond a factory you also have the courthouse, iron mine, workshop, etc. Anything that'll boost your production.

If you find yourself falling short by a small amount, the "future tech" techs can provide a boost.
