it's simply a whirlwind tour going by all the artist's stalls. you can see the art during the freeze frames. the end of the tour stops at the stall i had for my art.
Hi Matt! I don't remember seeing any graffiti or spraypaint there. I, unfortunately, didn't get a good chance to browse about. Most of the time I strayed from my booth was to chat and see other artists I've befriended from previous years.
I'm a little up and down these days but thanks, I'm sure I was radiant that day. :)
Well I hope your more up than down Chris and I hope you keep doing more videos. At the moment I'm very interested in art, in fact I've been selling a few pieces, I plan to do some videos soon, I'll keep you posted when I do!
hehe, Mom wasn't on a skateboard. the gravel path would have slowed her down. that is if she skateboarded in the first place. i think she should get a Segway instead! :)
it's crazy how much it feels like fall already. i want more summer.
Looks like you had a lot of fun :) Wish i could have been there (i'm from Sudbury)Nice to see you back too. I was starting to wonder hehe. Take good care!!
Great to have you back, ghostwise! Looks like it was a great day. I enjoy how you constructed the video with those brief freezeframes. That and the music make it rather dramatic.
I Really like the feel your Video Camera puts out. Like how all the Colors are so vibrant and peoples faces come out clean. Where did you get it? And what type is it?
I got my camera at Henry's. It's a Sony DSC-H9, a digital camera. So I'm just using it in movie mode. The colours are nice though it does come out a little grainy. Had some problems with compression when I uploaded it to YouTube.
Happy to have given you an escape! :) Yes, I reposted the video after not being satisfied with the quality of the first upload. Thanks for commenting again. :)
What's there not to get?
People these days, eh?
Nice video, the art was great. I liked when the cameraperson got left behind. xD

hey is thisn in winnipeg?
And I understand what art in the park means (I really can't see why others can't tho)
ScardTemple 4 years ago
It's in Ottawa. :) I'm relieved someone understands. :)
ghostwise 4 years ago
(there is also a strathcona in winnpeg)
ScardTemple 4 years ago
ah cool!
I wonder if it is also inspired by a British styled park design.
ghostwise 4 years ago
once again what does it mean
and i dont think it matters if its a scooter or a wheelchair
it still makes no sense
where is the art

ghostwise 4 years ago
well you could have fooled me
looked like an old guy on scooter
gitzietwo 4 years ago
that's me. but i'm not old. and that's an electric wheelchair, not a scooter.
ghostwise 4 years ago
can someone tell me what the hell this is supposed to mean
gitzietwo 4 years ago
what is what supposed to mean? the video depicts an art show that is held in a park in the summer.

ART IN THE PARK?

art in the park?
ghostwise 4 years ago
gotta love ottawa
specially stratcona
whats better than a park with a liqour store right across the street.. i mean common.. seriously..
StephGLB 4 years ago
i think you're thinking of a different park, the one on Somerset West, sort of near chinatown.
ghostwise 4 years ago
is strathcona park not in the glebe off bank street, right across the street from the lcbo on bank and clemow?
StephGLB 4 years ago
Nope, that's called Central Park I think.
Art in the Park in the Glebe is WAY crazier than the one I was at. Central Park gets completely filled with stalls.
ghostwise 4 years ago
aaaaahhh hehehe, ya good stuff
thats where im from bro.
i thought this was the one in the glebe hehehe
StephGLB 4 years ago
hey was that in ottawa? ive been in an art show park exacly like that 1
Devonmeister 4 years ago
yes, that's in ottawa. it was a lot of fun. :)

ghostwise 4 years ago
Hey that seems very interesting Chris. Was there any graffiti or spraypaint art there? Because that stuff interest me quite a bit...

What a beautiful day! I agree with the other comment, you camera is really good, what kind is it?
kittenstomper 4 years ago
Sony DSC-H9. My Stand Up video was also filmed with a Sony digital camera, though I don't know the model. Also had produced really great colours.
ghostwise 4 years ago
Cool!! Looks awesome. Sometimes I wish I had a cameraperson!! Except yeah, I'd probably lose my cameraperson, too, lol
Loved the booth you had set up, hope you had a good time! (It looked like it)
lisasimpson 4 years ago
Mom was the camera person. :) I loved how she dipped the camera at times to avoid people.
It was a super good time, was over way too soon!
ghostwise 4 years ago
Wow, looks like the weather was in your favor! Beautiful park, too!
Take care of yourself. :-)
MadamVassago 4 years ago
It got a little hot mid afternoon but otherwise it was beautiful. And Strathcona Park is the most beautiful one in Ottawa IMO.
ghostwise 4 years ago
It was a beautiful day, though it did get killer hot a few times. :)

Just watched your 777 video. Did we meet?
ghostwise 4 years ago
No not really, I am still new at this youtube stuff and did not know anyone. I stayed mostly behind my camera.
BuffaloRoaming 4 years ago
You didn't stop to check out the art much
Looked more like you were trying to escape the camera
"Hahaha, you can't catch me"
TomSka 4 years ago
Yeah, I didn't get to spend as much time looking at other people's art. I had to rush through to get back to my booth. :)
ghostwise 4 years ago
thats pretty cool,
hmmm I wonder where all the art at my park is? they must be hiding it from me. : )
zebs3619 4 years ago
it's once a year in my park. wish it was more often.
ghostwise 4 years ago
