Wow werent da Nuggets down 3-0 i nthis series??? Taken it to a Game 7?? Right after they were down 2-0 to Sonics (best team in NBA that Season) and beat them. Da 94 Nuggets were a special team
thanks for posting this, many people forget about the nuggets this year but their upset over the sonics, in my opinion, was one of the best moments of the 90s nba
I'm actually amazed thinking back that they pushed it to seven. That '94 run by Denver actually was my favorite part of the NBA playoffs that year. That was the apex of the basketbrawl NBA and the Finals stank (no team scoring 100 pts in ANY game of a seven game series...ridiculous).

This game was given to the Jazz. It was a gift, every single call went against the Nuggets. These kind of games are the reason people don't take the NBA seriously anymore.
Oakland Raiders fans think you're myopic, dude. We beat you twice on the way to two championships. That's a hell of a lot better than beating us in the playoffs and still coming up short.
Guess what? In this game where the Nuggets were supposedly so screwed by the refs, they shot almost 40 FTs and 17 more than Utah -- on the Jazz's home floor!
Too bad the extra freebies couldn't buy them a Western Conference Finals appearance. This game was a classic example of how experience (Jazz) does beat youth (Nuggets) on many occasions.
'Tis a shame the Nuggets couldn't hold it together for at least two more seasons after this. The Jazz got progressively better in the following seasons.
To SBMR -- I'm thinking the Jazz hold the record for consecutive playoff appearances. Is this true?
Oh, I knew that. I meant before they missed the playoffs. I know they were in the playoffs from 1984 to 2003. Perhaps the Blazers or Lakers have made more consecutive playoffs.
@Pradamaster They don't hold the record right now of consecutive, but they've missed the playoffs twice (yes twice, not three) in the last 25 or so years. Don't have the specific number on me, but its astounding. And the two years they didnt make it, the first year they went 41-41 and were 1 game away, and the next year they only won 26 games, still a franchise low. That was right after Stockton and Malone left.
Nope it wasn't to be for the Nuggets who havent made it past the first round ever since. Karl Malone's huge game delivered the 5th seeded Jazz into the Western Finals to meet the 2nd seeded Rockets. The Jazz fought hard but after a dissapointing 2 point defeat in Game 4 at the Delta Center, dropped the series in 5. The Jazz would reach the NBA Finals in 1997 and 1998.
BTW, if u have the Houston Rockets/Suns Game 7 NBC intro from these 1994 playoffs, I would like to see that too (HUGE oldschool Rockets fan). That was the series where Phoenix won the first two on Houston's homecourt, but Houston rallied to win in 7. If u have the Game 7 NBC intro from that series I would like to see it. Thanks.
hey you, do you have game 4 of the Western Conference Finals between the Rockets and Jazz because it was an interesting game. Utah could have evened the series at 2, but there was a no clock situation at the end. still, i love the jazz. and and can you upload the rockets suns game 7, please. answer, thanks

You're upset about this? The Jazz had multiple championships stolen on bad officiating.
Try getting over that -- although I know to Nuggets fans getting out of the first round is as good as it gets.

Further, the Nuggets only got this far because the officials threw Malone out of the fifth game.

Oh, you were talking historically. Ohh...
In that case, Portland has them by one year (83-2003).

Thanks. Excellent description, by the way. You'd only hope management from one of the teams you mentioned will read it and listen.
