The GC portion is upbeat and good but never as great as the SNES or full N64 one.

The NDS version of it is not good.

So overrated with endless guardrails and the track was way too long for its own good. Its not fun, its BORING! I'm sorry but I just never liked 64's rainbow road. Now double dash's rainbow road, that's what I call fun! Mario kart 64 was a great game though, it just has a shit final track.

I don't know many SNES games had lots generic orchestra music. And muffled sound effects/instruments where common on the SNES. This is why I prefer the synthesis of the Genesis and heep of great music compared to the SNES. Although the SNES it self have lots of great music. I say that there's more better music for the SNES library than the n64.

I have played Double Dash when it was available for play at Wal-Mart. But I never got to Rainbow Road. In fact, I only have enough time to do a couple of races (I don't even remember the characters I choose. I can't buy the game either because I don't have a Gamecube or a Wii....yet. I personally wish they made a Rainbow Road with all the twists and stuff, but no jumps, and the road itself was in a rainbow void. This is purely for the sake of creating the ultimate course for a Turbo Duel (Konami needs to bring Speed World 1 and/or 2 and the Speed Spells into the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG).
