  • Final no more airsoft version of that fucking sexy gun

  • wow, i love airsoft and airsoft mk23's, but THANK FUCKING GOD that this wasnt an airsoft video. i mean really, its bullshit how much airsoft mk23 vids there are

  • OMG, I must be the only one who had no issues with finding this video. I know, it takes a huge mental power to find out that KSC and Tokyo Marui are airsoft companies (Japan doesn't allow guns - perhaps if you guys read more about other countries you could learn something) and only a small part of YouTubers can achieve such intelligence.

Also, thumbnails. People firing guns in childish bedrooms and backyards are PROBABLY about airsoft. I know, actually LOOKING where you will click is so gay.

  • ... i thought they were called the usp if they were chambered in .45 or 40, and MK23 if they were chambered in .23 or 5.7(same i think)

  • @ABreathless0blivion MK23 are exclusively .45, while USPs are chambered for many types of cartridge, including 9mm and .45, for example.

  • @Kuwaga1 ok, thanks for setting me straight!

  • @ABreathless0blivion Wow, you need to do some homework.

  • @efoxneo wow, you need to read all the posts, I was told I was wrong 7months ago lol. thanks for the necro post ;)

  • is that thing supressed?

  • @XxStillxxAlivexX1

It's hard to tell eh? I think it is... and what we're hearing is just the bullet going supersonic.

  • is there another guy shooting in the back round

  • no thats just a speaker making those sounds of course there is its a shooting range

  • dont puLL but squeeze...

  • Just follow the MGS 3 formula. Have a handgun AND a knife equipped at the same time. That way, you have the best of both worlds...unless ofcourse you'r opponent is a ninja. Then, ofcourse, you'r royally fucked..

  • god, first video i found of a real mk23 thats not airshit

  • @nazikarma ...lol

  • It can make noise. But not that loud.

  • You guys are retard. There is no such thing as a "silencer". You can not silence a pistol or any other gun. It's called a supressor. It is meant to supress the sound. It can't make no noise at all.

  • Haven't they made specially made guns to be virtually silent or as close to silent as possible

  • Hell if I know man. If you can find one that is silent then I'd give ya props.

TICKLE THAT BODYBUILDER TILL HE'S SHITTING A CACTUS!!

  • found one thats close to that mark the russian PSS special

  • Alright well I check out this PSS and I must say it is pretty quiet but you can still hear it. It's all good though I still give you props for checking it out for me and yourself I guess.

  • Guess the best weapon for complete silence is still the old fashioned knife

  • I'm trying to remember witch rapper said the best quote. " Anybody can shoot somebody from across a room, but it takes a real nigga to go up and stab them."

  • its true though, although wen it comes to one on one fights i prefer Hand-to-hand every time more satisfying when u win coz its generally down to skill with a knife and a gun u can do em in one

  • Yeah it's very true but there is nothing more satisfying then squeezing a trigger. Plus a bullet less painful (unless you don't kill the person). If you've ever been stabbed you know it hurts like a motherfucker! Unless you stab them in the skull... and that would be bad ass.

  • yeh i herd about some people going for ages not realising they've been shot but I havent been stabbed yet, came close the other week though, only found out yesterday one of 3 guys taking out my mate had one

  • well i dont want to be a real nigga...i want to shoot you from across the room....

  • Well you don't have to be a "nigga" but your still a pussy. Any bitch can squeeze a trigger.

  • Sqeeze it then bitch.

  • Are you replying to me or janggomeh?

  • magicmark1292

  • sorry but I prefer a blade. You can see the facial expressions so much better.

  • You've never stabbed anyone

  • How you do you know?

  • There are no, "facial expresions", only their eyes, and that empty, sickening feeling afterwards, your better off not knowing how long that feeling lasts.

  • That's all depending on where you stab them now isn't it? Now in the skull, yes, heart, yes, every where else, there is some sort of facial expression.

  • Oh and also I have stabbed someone. Some one thought it would be a good idea to break into my house when I was home. Luckily I grabed a hunting knife and stuck him in the gut. there was deffinitly some expression there.

  • lol you are so full of shit

  • lol you can think what you like.

  • See?, thats how I know you never stabbed anyone; you believed meXD

  • Says the man with an airsoft gun.

  • I never said I had an airsoft gun,

but whatever man, it's been fun.

  • It's one of the only videos on your profile. I never said I believed you any how. I said maybe if you got stabbed in the head or heart would their be no facial expression I would never know since I've only stabbed an intruder in the stomach and called the police.

  • K, dude, d'ya wanna medal or somethin'?, I not the one that needs to brag about shit that does'nt even matter, to strangers on the internet.

    :P

  • No I want a cookie. You are the one with the need to start arguments with complete strangers on the internet.

  • @magicmark1292 internet ftw

  • @magicmark1292

    oh my god your cool

god i hate that people have the need to prove themselves somehow on videos that involve weapons

    "i killed a guy"

    "i stabbed a guy"

    "your aim is shit"

    "i would do way better"

    i give a shit, god

  • @magicmark1292

i give a shit, go back to stabbing people you internet tough guy.

  • you're like a little child that wanders into a movie theater and wants to know what they've missed.

  • @10lettername if i were to write a message like this, i would do it way better.

  • Acdcgreat, why do you think it sounded specifically like a 1911? Couldn't it be any other handgun that fired the .45ACP round?

  • it didnt even silence..

  • That thing is loud for a silencer...

  • the other dudes got a bigger gun then you lol

  • Actually the other guy's gun sounded very much like a 1911 .45 and the 1911 is chambered in the same round as the mk 23 so you're wrong.

  • beat the dead horse why dont yah

  • I was just saying..

  • Usually suppressors that are found on the open market have exceeded their shot life which is usually around 600 rounds. After that, the suppressor is not effective any more, but the person who bought it now has a "silencer" and feels much happier and tough and badass.

  • WTF? Where are you getting your information man? Either you are trying to be provocative or just really don't know. either way you are wrong.

  • My reply was for

    eternetytenrete

  • Not all suppressors have shot life but many older models do.

Many of the better ones are maintainable now, so that helps if you are in constant use of one.

  • That sounds abnormally loud for a silencer.

  • It just sounds loud because he's inside a concrete shooting range, the sound dosen't get a chance to spread out, it's just echoed back. Also, it's really tough to tell how loud a suppressor makes a firearm on camera.

  • sounds like Robocop is in there with you

  • wat type of suppressor is that ...

    its loud

  • its not that loud compare it to the other guy shooting

or shoot it outside it sounds loud because of the echo

  • like what you see? dont be nervous! MESSAGE ME (msn)! Y

  • finaly a video that isnt about fucking airsofts

  • I hate airsoft. Its for pussys that can't own real weapons.

  • It depends, it's also for citizens from countries that doesn't allow to purchase real weapons.

  • SNAAAAKE!!!!!!!!!

  • haaaahaaa [continue] [exit]

  • shouldnt the suppressor,...suppress it? thats really loud.

  • supersonic ammo ? !

  • When you suppress any .45, you're really just going for sound reduction for the purposes of hearing preservation, and for making the sound less distinguishable as the report of a gun, and not say, the snapping of a branch, or falling object. Hiding flash is also a plus. But if you think that's loud, you should hear a 23 with the can off. Ouch.

  • I was about to say the same thing. I can't tell which suppressor it is, but being indoors doesn't help much either. With water as ablative on the baffles both my SWR HEMS II and Knights OHG .45 suppressors are pretty durn quite outdoors and at father distance.

  • By the way, this shooter has poor stance, poor grip and that's why his upper body is being bounced back during the recoil phase of the operation of the pistol. Stand firm, square the shoulders, arms extended straight to extend the sight radius and lean forward to put upper body pressur on the recoil response. He needs more base line training, let alone with high speed pistol and suppressor. Good Luck.

  • thanks

  • Of all the people you should know.

  • ETA: Your 14 and lot's of youngsters your age aspire to be Army SF, Navy SEALs, Recon, Rangers etc. Remember, now matter how good or studly you think may be at this age there are 100 kids that at this moment can outswim you, out hump you, and outrun you. By the time your old enough to actually take the ASVAB and actually get fitted for the pipline you may just not have the desire nor the will to ever make it through the entire BUD/S program. I'm an SOF retiree and I've seen thousands like you.

  • i know dude i think i have enough whats it called...motivation to do my best. and i know the odds are against me but im up to a challenge and learning new things. my uncle trys to discourage me by saying the 'truth'

fact is he wasnt even close to what he was sayin...but uhh thanks for the encouragement and info

  • it seems really loud in this vid

  • Probaly still using supersonic ammo. Only one firearm i know of actualy manages to supress supersonic ammo and thats the H&K MP5SD. Nothig special, its just designed that way to maintain the best possible balistics. For that reason, it sholdnt be used with subsonic ammo.

  • sooo...the supersonic ammo makes it louder...and the only gun you know of is the mp5 sd-cool thats the gun i like most :)

  • Ya think ? Why would supersonic ammunition be louder when used in a suppressed firearm ? You think it might have something to do with sub sonic velocity and sound waves ? Gee, you haven't spent much time with firearms have you ?

  • your right about me not knowin much about firearms...im only 14 and havent spent much time around REAL guns...only airsoft guns

So....next time your tryin to at least sound smart tellin me i dont know anything your absolutely right and your gonna look stupid for stating the obvious.

at least im trying to get familiar...we all gotta start somewhere :|

  • But now that I've scrolled down to see how you responded to this kid, I've got to say it doesn't bode well for your mental age either.

  • im thinking of buying one of these, i was looking at one yesterday and it fits so well in my hand but its like 9.5inches long lol

its the biggest pistol i've held other than a desert eagle

  • fuck you

  • They are wery sexy, but then they are like $2000. What makes them that?

  • H&K -Quality AND Looks

  • it looks craazy.. and i dunno if it comes with the attatchment lazer and light?

  • the mk23 socom is perfect for special units !

  • No shit... -.- It's designed for special forces.

  • The Mk23 pistol is no longer in use by any of the SOF forces. Navy SEALs recieved the majority if not all of the original 2500 pistols delivered to USSOCOM. A command decision was made to turn all Mk23's back to Crane. Why ? can't tell ya, but some teams refused to give them back and actually took them down range and secured ammunition once in theater. As of now the pistol isn't being used.

  • Its been largely replaced by the USP Tactical, which has many of the same specs but in a more user friendly size. High end SF opperators tend to spec their own gear anyway.

  • No!!! It hasn't. Neither Naval Special Warfare or Army Special Forces use the weapon. It was never in use with any of the U.S. Army SF or Rangers. It primarily driven into development by the USNSW/SEALs and they've all been sent back to Crane. Who ever told you that the "Tactical" is now being used it full of shit. I have one son that is serving with Seal Team IV and I know for a fact that the "Tactical" is not in use with any of the SOF ground or Maritime forces.

  • and by the way im goin into the seals so uhhh...yeah, why do like to start 'fights' on the tube...its almost useless...people have their own opinions and most of the time dont want the real facts or think your lying.

  • Good luck with your SEAL goals. I personally know the OIC of the NSWSPC (SEAL Prep course) and he'll see if you and the other youngsters have what it takes to earn your Trident. Since you do not know what the SEALs or any other SOF soldiers and sailors and airmen and marines use in the course of duty it's best not to make stuff up just to hear yourself talking. Master Chief Tharp will see if you have what it takes to earn the "Budweiser" and you better be as mentally prepared as physically.

  • I don't know the guy, so I have no idea about physicality, but mentally, the kid couldn't spell or speak his way out of a paper bag. Bad sign.

  • My bad. I was going by an unoficial HK website that is (otherwise) impeciably researched. Your son would have a better idea than me. All the best to him by the way, hope nothing happens to him whilst he's on duty. What do they tend to get issued with sidearm-wise?

  • They are carrying primarily the Sig P226 chambered in 9mm and some water ops they carry a Smith 686 .357 Mag. If they are using any suppressed pistol at this time it's not something I am aware of since the Mk23 MOD O has been sent back to Crane. That was some sort of Command descision out of Coronado. At this time I'm not privy to any development of another suppressed pistol. I would think a drop in threaded barrel with 9mm suppressor for the Sig would suffice.

  • Wow.. mock silencer, it didnt even do anything..

  • yeah it did it was a guy near him shooting something else that drowned it out

  • Shooting tip: Put one foot behind the other on a 45 to 60-degree angle, as in a basic fighting posture and lean forward a little when you shoot. For right-handed shooters, put your right foot back, and the left for lefties. It'll feel a little more comfortable and help you keep your balance better. I noticed the recoil pushed you back a couple inches when you shot. Try it out. It's another way to go about it, but it's not the only way.

  • i use this in rainbow six vegas 2 alot besides the revolver and deagle

  • Mk.23 is a sexy handgun

  • its a very large gun but oh so nice. also, almost all suppressors are to be used wet unless its a wipe, which are a waste of money. firing a suppressor dry does little to suppress the weapon.. the water allow the heat to cool inside the suppressor.

  • ive been wanting to shoot 1 of those for hella long. ever since metal gear solid :p

  • also, just let you know, some rental ranges rent the HK USP 45, which is similar, but the MK 23 is BIG...I never compared it side by side to a Desert Eagle, but I'd bet they're about the same size.

  • Once I shot with a 1911, and a high capacity version of the same gun. As I am 6.3", the bigger grip felt more comfortable and I guess the MK23 would fit even better in my hands!

When I get older (and wealthier) this gonna be THE handgun I will have for my collection! No 1911, no Glock 21, no other else only the Mark 23! :)

  • Just so y'all know...a .45 pistol is VERY hard to "silence". At best, it ends up sounding like a .22 short. One of the best .45 silencers was the one for the M3 greasegun, but that was over a foot long! A Mac-10 silencer sounds like a jackhammer when its running. Put it this way...we had a MK23 go off by accident in a hotel room with the KAC suppressor ON it...& we had lots of explaining to do to the hotel manager! Don't believe everything you see in the movies :)

  • They aren't as bad if you use one of the wet silencers. But indoors they are still not hearing safe.

  • "Wet silencer"? How does it works?

  • A wet silencer is one that has special "wet chambers" that hold water or water based substances that help suppress the noise of the gunshot.

  • Does it helps to suppress a supersonic bullet?

  • It helps alot but using supersonics is not only loud as hell but its bad for your silencer. Although most silencers slow down the bullet.

  • what about hollow point 45 rounds?

  • you can also use wire pulling gel, it doesnt drip out the can.

  • mock silencer?

  • That's a Mark 23, not a Mk23.

  • A Mark 23 is the same thing as a Mk.23 lol

  • No, it isn't. The US Navy Seal version is the Mk 23 Mod 0, and the civilian version is the Mark 23. Look it up before you go talking about it like you know anything.

  • No... MK stands for Mark. Hypocrite.

  • Actually hes right they did make two versions. The Mark23 was made with a 10 round mag and the MK23 was the SOCOM version with a 12 round mag. (you can get the 12 round mags for the Mark23 tho)

  • Mark 23 and the MK 23 are the same thing. Gah... Google it you retards. The only difference between the MK23 and the MK23 SOCOM is the name.

  • Like I said, look it up before you act like you know anything.

  • Youre such a hypocrite. And hes right, silencers dont work as well with supersonic ammunition compared to subsonic ammunition.

  • I'm not a hypocrite, I looked it up years ago, the civilian version is called the Mark 23. You CANNOT get a Mk 23, unless you're in the US Navy SEALS.

  • yes you can

there the exact same fucking gun

Mark 23 is just the civilian designation for the Mk23 MOD 0

its like how the military calls the DC4 the C54...same damn thing

  • Exact same gun with different markings on the slide. Go to HKs website, where they explicitly state that they do not make different versions of their guns for military and civilian markets, they are very proud of their weapons and will not release "compromised" versions.

  • Yes MK23 is short for Mark23 but the name of the models for the two guns are MK23 and Mark 23. So in this case they do not mean the same.

  • Following stringent comparative trials, on May 1st, 1996 the Mk23 was adopted as a service pistol under the designation MK23 MOD.O.

That's from HKs site. It's no different from the Beretta 92FS being rebranded the M9 for the military. Different markings on the slide, exact same gun. The Mark 23 is listed as the Mk23 Mod.0.

You and iunnox666 are completely wrong.

  • No, I never said they were completely different, if you looked on HK's website, you would have seen that the civilian version is called Mark 23 I NEVER said they were any different other than the markings. The Mark 23 is a Mark 23, and the Mk 23 Mod 0 is a Mk 23 Mod 0. I never said anything incorrect.

  • If all you are saying is that the markings are different, then you're right and I apologize, I read it as you saying there were two different versions of the gun released, which is incorrect.

This is a cool video, BTW.

Type in "Mark 23" here and look at the video of the guy shooting bowling pins, it's brutal.

  • how about put off the silenter

  • are 15 year olds allowed to go to the shooting range and shoot

  • Good question, yes, they can with adult supervision.

  • yeah they are i've shot the ak, m16, qbz95 and some random 9mm pistol

  • I guess you are also inside a (looks like) cement walled building. that cant be very good for showing off a quiet supressed weapon.

  • Not really. Depending on the ammunition, a silenced MK23 makes only a loud click. An unsilenced M9 is rather loud.

  • Silencers don't work all that well with supersonic ammunition, subsonic works the best with silencers. Maybe it's the other way around, not sure.

  • 9mm cartridges fired from pistols produce a few decibels MORE than a .45. I've seen the charts. The sound is a bit different, but the loudness remains.

  • *walks in

*looks around at some of the comments

    *laughs

    *walks out

  • lol

  • shut the fuck up the cameras shit so lik i can tell its fake

  • No shuch thing as a silencer people only supressers

  • They're refered to as either. Thats like saying there are no cars, only automobiles.

  • Its good to be "afraid of it" especially if you begin. Most people end up making mistakes by predicting the recoil.

As for the silenced sound, it depends on the ammo you use. A silencer does not slow down or quiet down the bullet. As the result of "Sub sonic" ammunition being used, the gases have more time to travel and to be absorbed into the silencer. Ranges require certain types of ammo to be used at indoor ranges, hence the sound.

  • That is true but almost every type of .45ACP ammunition is subsonic by design. You have to try to find a supersonic .45ACP. Supersonic ammunition is when the velocity is over 1100FPS. 45ACP standard 230Gr. ball ammunition is always 840-870 FPS depending on length of barrel. Heckler&Kock Mark 23 Socom or MK23 is a .45ACP.

  • So? I was talking about the guy in the video.

  • fuckn exactly

  • It not silence because its a fake suppressor.

  • It's not fake you fool..... .45 is not silent..... go stick a supressor on a 7.62 gun and let me know if it is silenced.....

  • He's holding the pistol like he's afraid of it.

  • they dont sound silencd

  • CA. u cant own, fully autos, and theres, magazine restrictions, depending on what weapon u have.

    Silencers is also banned.

But hell, we have compton and la

    and remeber that hollywood shootout?

yeah, thats why we banned them.

  • in cali no full auto no surpressors no magazine capacity over 10 and on and on

  • actually, my friend has several 15 rnd mags for his pistol... u can have stuff like that, just don't get caught

  • i know T_T

  • gotta love indiana, there isn't shit we can't buy or conceal.

  • looks like your leanin back too much, but man nice pistol LAM and suppressor?!

  • shoot it outside ! how quite is it outside?

  • I thought silenced (dampened sound) weapons were illegal to the public O.o

  • not if you have a class 3 license! but those are hard to get, and the FBI is aloud to search your house at any time they want... but then again, if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear

  • You do NOT need a "Class 3 license" to privately own a silencer or any other NFA weapon. A Class 3 license is a license to become an NFA dealer. To own a silencer, you file a Form4 application for each silencer you buy. This application includes a $200 transfer tax. Google "ATF Form 4" and "Bardwell NFA FAQ".

  • Lastly, owning NFA firearms (ie silencers) does NOT give the ATF, FBI, or anyone else from the gov permission to violate your 4th Amendment Freedoms. They can't "search your house any time they want" because they do not have probable cause to do so. Legally owning a silencer in compliance with federal law is not a crime (duh), so they can't search your house without consent.
