@codybb youll do ok.if you can handle all the crap and yelling they do,then the physical part is a piece o cake..i did basic at leonard wood (ft.lost in the woods,misery lol) waaay back in 1986 delta 2-3 a few weeks after h.s. graduation and if i remember right,i got 93 situps and 91 pushups in 2 minutes and did the 2 mile run in 14 minutes..so its easy if your in good shape

@codybb this will save you alot of grief in basic..ok,like i said,the yelling lol.when you do your hospital corners on your bed,make sure its tight..never call a captain a captain,call him sir..when going through the tear gas room try to breath tiny breaths through the nose,dont try to hold your breath,you wont make it.when using your rifle,breath out before you pull the trigger so its a steady shot and always scan for movement in the dark keep your eyes moving,dont fixate on one spot..good luck

the obstacle course had the big stuff closed when we went through. i swear they put something in the food since i was way too tired by the time i reached the end of a basic course. we did the pugil stick but not the "combatives" part.

so in 95 as a combat engineer it was very easy. i imagine they updated it by now.

"So you post your ship off date online, and now everyone around the world can see it because its on the internet. So what if a terrorist sees that date and decides to attack the base you'll be training at? They know when you will be there and where you will be."

I received my papers and I was Honorably Discharged. Fort Hood was the sugar in my life and sadly I am now home supporting from afar.

im 15 and i am really not in shape at all i mean im short and skinny but underweight and ive been trying to work out and get fit but nothing works i finally started running the other day i get tired like after a minute lolz but now i can jog for 5 minutes straight and im going to try and up the time every week or so but im trying to do this once a day also Regular pushups - 10
