This plane is awsome i can take it out fly it and bring it home in one piece every time I fly it.if you are a beginner buy the parkzone slo v that's a Homerun to.
rather have a large size, balsa/plywood model so it can take some damage and so that it isnt blown around by the wind so easily, plus homemade projects are heaps of fun/
look dont get this plane it is under powered and the battery box rips out easy i have a supercub by hobbyzone and is the best beginners plane if ya ask me its easy to fly easy to fix hard to smash it but if ya nose dive into the ground at full speed anything will break now i got a stryker f27c by park zone its propbly a good one to get after the super cub but you have to be really good at the cub before moving on hope this helps anyone else that looks at this plane
Im new to R.C. planes and i am thinking about getting this one should i? I read a bunch of reviews about it saying it is good for beginners like me soooooo... can someone help me?
yeah we actually ahve this one! it's pretty easy to fly, but if you are new, i can just tell u that landing and starting are not very easy. we tried it alot of times, and it never really worked. on one start, it crased in teh side of the road, and the whole thing infront including the motor were Fucked up. but for flying its pretty easy... Its just very sensible for little treatment on the steering controls...
The only way I got mine to fly was to modify it to take brushless motor,2-3 cell lipo, and micro servos. How anyone got theres to fly like this stock I never know.
i advise people against this plane. i bourght one recently and to be honest regret it now. i have had to repair it more times then i care to mention. the tail broke on first flight the prop became loose in second flight and now the fusalage has be compramised by the bar keeping the wing on getting pulled up by the elastic bads; cutting into the fusalage i thouroghly regret buying it. it was my first parkzone plane and after the shabby worksmanship it is my last as well.
i purchased this plane in 2005 and have only bad things to say about it. but on the bright side, since then i only have good things to say about parkzone. i have a typhoon 3d and absolutely love it and i also just purchased the t-28 trojan and have fell in love with that too. my advice, dont buy a parkzone decathalon!
