I tuck it into the bun.. You can put a second stick through and use that to hold the braids if they fall out, but usually mine stay if the bun is tight

Is it possible to make the same style with only medium length hair?  My girlfriend has medium length hair I want some news ideas for styles to create for her. I can only do a simple bun, ponytail and a french twist.

Yeah you could do it on medium length, if the braids don't work you can try it without the braids, just wrap the hair around the stick and tuck it in, you might need a scrunchi to hold it that way though
