@jamesmauch You are welcome James it is Manfrotto 035RL Super Clamp with 2908 Standard Stud, you can get it from amazon for about 33 bucks and it has Giotto Professional Mini Ball Head Camera Mount, 13 bucks at amazon. Right now I am using Windows Live Movie Maker, great questions BTW :)
I liked this video as well. I am not a triker (yet??), but would guess you would get less engine vibration if you mounted to the wing-fixed structure, compared to the trike-fixed structure. Is that true? Also, that cantilever arm seems like it would magnify vibrations, yet your videos look smooth compared to others I have seen. Have you tried lashing the camera tightly to a piece of structure, with maybe rubber pads under it? Obviously my goal is to minimize vibration. Thanks.
@SteveandLizDonaldson Thanks Steve & Liz, correct, the least amount of vibration on a trike is on the wing, The most vibration is on the main mast & front tube. In flight, surprisingly I haven't noticed a lot of vibration. I mean the camera is always vibrating just a litte bit, It vibrates a lot more during taxi. I have never felt the need of using pads to minimize the vibration. Now that you know one way to mount cameras, If I was you I would wait till I was proficient with flying, please :)
