Verbatim Pocket Drive 250GB Review

Bought it yesterday. It works even from front panel usb port - I had problems with my older 2.5" external drive, it required too much current. This one just works. It has 4k sector size (used gparted 6.2 to partition it). ~ 19MB/s continuous writing, 21MB/s read. Small files handled ok (much better than on many flash drives). One peculiarity/annoyance: I'm unable to boot from it. It just doesn't show on the list of devices available to boot from - my older 2.5" worked ok. Anyway, great drive.

Wondered if you might happen to know if these use a standard SATA 1.8" Toshiba drive internally? As far as I am aware, only Toshiba manufacturer 250gb 1.8" Sata drives currently.
