It's called "tool assisted," meaning two things. First, it means the computer played the game, the guy didn't. Second, it means he was a huge tool and sat for hours programming the button combos for the computer to do this.

@BLBDart No, I'm not the person who made this movie, it's NxCy and Baxter who are responsible. It's a tool assisted video, which means it was made with an emulator.  It's not intended to be a demonstration of skill. Rather it's supposed to be a demonstration of what it would looks like if the game were played perfectly. There's a link in the description to the forums post about this WIP. I simple encoded the movie as an video file and uploaded it to youtube.

@TyrGodOfWar42 When you hit an enemy with a red egg it drops 2 stars (which each give a health point.) Because this is a 100% run, you need to collect 20 health points to get to the 30 required for a 100% on that stage. (You start out with 10 health.)
