I've got one at home that mum bought in 1978.... still in awesome condition with all the original books and it still provides entertainment when friends come over.
i saw one at the pawn shop for 39.99 so i ran home and searched on youtube after i saw your video..... i ran back to buy it a day later.....i hooked up my line 6 effects pedal to it by why of the phono plug......and created some amazing sounds....thanks for your post
It's actually VERY hard to play a GOOD song (like this fella) on the Fun Machine. First, the keys are feather weight. Secondly, the auto rhythm has no brains - it will INSTANTLY reset the beat as soon as you let up. Therefore, you gotta have a perfect beat when changing chords. Lastly, the solo section is very loud, and if you mess up, it's real obvious. Listen to his "bow wow wow" keys over running the beats... he'll get it, because he's got talent. Overall, it is FUN, but it's hard.
