He briefly sang/ auditioned for Sabbath. I don't like the fact haht he makes Sabbath out to be evil though. they talk about evil heavily, but if you really listen, it is just hell-fire and brim-stone preaching. don't be so close minded.
@drockkclapton PS. I went through the drugs and alcohol phase, but I finally found a reason to quit all that stuff...I am a very good heavy metal guitarist. It hurts my feelings that metal is considered "evil" by the church..,it's the reason I stopped taking drugs, and I believe God sent me this music to allow me to let out the anger I couldn't put into words when my daddy died when I was ten years old. that is all. Praise God!
@sticksofthunder68 It appears that I am the author of the "religon is a waste of time" statement, I actually -accidentally- deleated the comment which the author's posting name is "risingfr" not filmguymike (me). I am a born-again Christian with full agreement with your statement of true salvation. I didn't want to offend the person posting his views so I went to my e-mail and copy and pasted his original statement. Sorry for the confusion. I have decided to remove the re-post. Thank You.
@kerry1053 - Praise Jesus for Jeff's salvation from the clutches of drugs and darkness! Jeff is not the Christian's "trophy"! He is God's handiwork! I used to listen to Black Sabbath music back in my "dark" days. Thank God I "grew up"!
The date showing at the end is 2002. The person who introduces Jeff Fenholt is an old friend of his, from when Jeff first met the Lord.
The song is called, "It Is Well with My Soul. I will write the 2nd verse out for Jeff Fenholt, for all he has been through, and is going through.
"Tho' Satan should buffet, tho' trials shall come, Let this blest assurance control, That Christ hath regarded my helpless estate, And hath shed His own blood for my soul."
There's unfortunately lots of problems and dangers in the world, but i think that nationalism is not the best solution (even if some nations have a better moral than others).
I'm so happy, that he's diffrent from Ozy Osborne and that he became a christian. Unbelivble, praise the Lord. Lord choose him! AMEN!
