please help me my sound is delay and their movement is slow motion but the computer requirements is complete is there anything i should fix on my config
How does it run the movies though? I can get the normal gameplay to run pretty well but the movies run like shit. I have a ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 which is 256 MB, 1GB of RAM (not sure which kind), and a 1.66GHZ Dual Core Processor... the game runs OK but the movies are shit. 3 FPS or so.
SWEET... can you help me set it up? i downloaded the game, got PCSX2 v0.9.4... but i dunno what to do and the online tutorials well.. lets just say that i dont understand 99% of it
i downloaded the pcsx2 then got the bios said it couldn't open some plugins then updated my driver then the graphics on my computer for 3d objects is distorted and i spent about 2 hours to get the files update the drivers and rip my ffxii game then i had to deleted all of it because what happened
and it happened when my computer was fixed and the hard drive was replaced with something that was 8 years old and only 30 gb and the memory went down alot
mine is a pentium d running at 3.4GHz but 512ram 256 video but the game runs not as smooth as yours. i get 52-56fps on the intro then at the menu up to 107 then when i start the game it runs at 30-60fps depending on the environment.
hey dude i hv just run ffx with pcsx2 i got a amd3000+ running at 2000 mhz (overclocked just a little bit), 512 mb ram, and msi 6600gt running 1000 mhz memory- 540mhz gpu, and i dont know why but the intro goes at 25 fps without AA or BF, the sound goes too slow as well as the fps, the game goes VERY SLOW compared to Your intro. what could be the reason? is it the configuration? or waht?
can u tell me wich video pluggin r u using and wich are the settings you selected for it?
No it won't, I've had it running at 2.4GHz instead of 2.0GHz for like 6 months now. It won't fry unless you push it too hard and up the voltages too much.
The 'Venice' 3200+ is capable of 2.5 - 2.7GHz just on air and using standard Vcore. Whoever told you that OC a CPU will fry it isn't telling you the full story.
I have a intel GMA 945 Express chipset card (I know, it sucks, and actually got FFX to run. The problem is that it only runs at 10-15 fps, at the most, at scenes like the intro, while at menus it could be around 60-80 fps. How can I increase the fps speed, even by a slight margin? I really want to play this game, but the speed makes it so frustrating to enjoy.
Well, hes actually running on the pcsx2 emulator, you can see that by looking at the top left side of the screen at the video beginning.... you can clearly read "capture avi 9zerogs_dump.avi) - on", zeroGS is the graphics plugin....
Figured out the problem. I changed the video card plug-in and got it working. The PAL version definitly has some strange issues. I downloaded the US version and got it working, which is better for me anyways because I'll be able to continue my game once I get Swap Magic for my PS2.
Did you get your ISO from the BT? I think the one I dl'd is pooched. All I get is "cannot load iso" and some sort of error with the CD/DVD plug-in. Yet, Namco vs Capcom and Capcom vs Marvel 2 work alright.
sorry for the double post. If I do manage to make it past those errors when selecting another plug-in, the emu just crashes anyways. I tried mounting, and just loading the ISO directly, with the same results.
what are your settings for making the game run faster and more smoothly?

i severely doubt you can. it only goes up because it's not using any 3d rendering for the menus etc.
sinetwo 4 years ago
It is overclocked, default clock speed is 2.0GHz. It is now at 2.4GHz
talexander07 4 years ago
turn off 4xAA and BF, your fps should go up higher.
