the T95 wasn't really a secret tank and it wasnt a really good tank because how many videos or texts or something you have heard about it??? if you know please tell me im so god damn intrested
sherman with t34 rockets? are you sure? Indeed, it's called the T34 Calliope, but that's only because it was made in 1943. the rockets were 114mm. not 76, 57, or 85mm.
@bdaley1234 There is no such thing as a tank, it was just a ploy during WW1 to be secretive about them, so they were called water tanks during transportation, So the name tank is unimportant
At 1:26 the Sturm Tiger was actually an assault gun and a heavey mortar carrier. The T-85 at 1:53 was never used in combat but was also an assault gun purpose built for detroying fortifications on the Ziegfried line, but the war was over before it was produced.
@ACRScout57 The T85 would be no use on the Siegfried line, they could have just walked in as all the defences were pointing west. Not the best point ever made, do better next time
@moomoo1337 The T85 is a U.S. vehicle, and would have been very useful in hitting the Siegfried Line, had it been ready in time. If you are thinking that the "T" indicates that it was a Soviet Vehicle, it is a common error, since they name their operational tanks with a "T", as well as "K" such as the KV-1 and J as with the JS3. But the T-85 has the "T" designation because the U.S. designated its test model with a "T" until the 1950's when it was changed to "X" for experimental.
@ACRScout57 Point of clarity...the SturmTiger was not a heavy mortar carrier at all, even though they would be assigned Armored Assault Mortar Companies. It was in fact an armored, self propelled rocket launcher.
The vehicle at 1:53 is the T28 super heavy tank which was renamed to the T-95 Gun Motor Carriage late in the war and then back to the T-28 after the war. There is no tank called the T-85.
You are correct regarding a "T-85" being in the video, but a T-85 (T-55 variant) is currently use in Pakistan.
"T-85" was a typo, I was thinking of the T-34/85 when typing (The T-34 upgrade from the 76.2mm to an 85mm gun for better effect against the Tiger I.) The T-28 was not a really a "Tank", the term in U.S. terms would indicate a turret and the T-28/T95 GMC was by configuration an "Assault Gun" just as the M12 or M7, also termed "GMC" but are clearly artillery.
@ACRScout57 The T-85 you speak of is the TR-85, an upgraded TR-77 which is based on the T-55 and is Romanian not Pakistanni.
Funny how they can't get the nomenclature right on vehicles. The T-28 was definately not a tank...tank destroyer, gun motor carriage, self propelled arty or assault gun would all fit better.
The Sturmtiger was indeed a 'quasi' rocket launcher, much as the M551 Sheridan is a "missile launcher". The gun/launcher fired a fin stabilized round that bore more likeness to a modern RAP round than a 'rocket', as it had to be tube launched to be fired. The launcher was 380mm, the vehicle designated "Sturmpanzer morser Tiger" was originally built to tote a 210mm classic mortar but that was not ready in time for production hence the use of the 380mm already in full production.
@ACRScout57 Yeah, I have seen the Sheridan fire a Shillelagh missle before, it was the forerunner of the TOW system. The 380mm on the SturmTiger was a failed shore based anti-sub weapon and was not in full production. They were used in Norway and failed and as best as I can find only about 97 were manufactured. 18 were used on the SturmTiger.
As far as i am concerned the latest tanks of WW2 was the "King" Tiger tanks of the german army and the T-34 of the Red army...Does anyone know if the other super tanks were used and if they did in which battles?
the tank at.1.26 . the germans actually used it for clearing out fortified positions.. Can`t remember the caliber though.. whether is a "secret weapons" i dont know. Only they where rare on the battlefield.. the chassis where from a tiger 1 or jagdtiger I believe..the turret looks like that from a jagdtiger og panther.. Heavy monster steal machine,..
Let's not have any more wars with Whites verses Whites. White people should unite and if you think so to then come join the National Alliance. You can view their web site just type in National Alliance.
The Maus wasn't "secret", but it would have been mass produced if the Soviets had'nt captured the prototypes in Boblingen. Can u imagine if they made several of those?!
I have some names you should look up: PZ. Inz 7TP dw; 7TP dj; 4TP; 10TP; 14TP PZ. Inz. 130; Lt Vz. 35; Turan I, II, III; Nimrod; Zrinyi; Toldi; Toldi II FOR A START; there's also Finnish tanks, Czech tanks, Polish, Hungarian, Swiss, Romanian, Belgian, Estonian, Spanish, Swedish, Norwegian, Austrian, Bulgarian, Yugoslavian, Canadian, Australian, Brazilian (yes, Brazilian), Italian, French, besides the obvious: Germany, USA, USSR, UK, Japan. WORLD WAR, my friend, no six-country global conflict.
they call the tank at 1:18 "superheavy"? sumthin wrong there! its tiny! small barrel...tiny shell... weak...cant do any damage...and people cant learn to build good tanks... there all tiny...
You are double Wrong.... This Tank was called "Panzerkampfwagen VIII" or "Maus" and the Nazis constructed two of this 188t Monsters, three more where in build.
The "Landkreuzer Ratte" or "P-1000" you may think of, was an even bigger Tankprojekt but they rejected it. This thing shouldn´t be a Tank - more a Battleship in the field.
@Siml94 Konigstigers where perfect targets for AT fire..the disadvantages of King Tiger were low mobility and that the fact that if it was out of gas or shells it ussually was left behind... :'( (waste of a powerful tank)
lol its funny that i dont know most of the common Tanks but i know all the "secret" ones 1 is maus 2 is calliope 3 sturmtiger 4 T95 or alse "Joseph Stalin 3"(there were two others Joseph Stalin 1,2)
@9394JP731 sry man the matilda was not inferior to the mark IV panzer in any means what made the tank inferior was that the germans had headset radios in each of the tanks allowing the germans to coordinate their attacks and the fact that the german strategists were far superior to the british ones is what made the british lose so many battles...not until the panther and tiger tanks were the german tanks superior
My brother Markus Bott had been tortured during five and a half years by the German BND, which is the former GESTAPO. I recorded more than 100 videotapes which ended up in the legal system. My brother was tortured during 1.5 years despite several legal procedures pending. Markus Bott was assassinated on July 11th 2009 because of our homepage, linked on my channel, and our book Der Totalitäre Staat. If my homepage disappears, the BND will have assassinated me as well.
The British bureau & tank designers were short-sighted, therefore their British origined tanks in WWII were all substand & far inferior to German counterparts in every aspects, except the late Comet tank despite its uprighted armor. Moreover, the British tanks were short battle lived not substantable as Pz IV & M4 to upgrade. The TOG, Black Prince & Archer were design failure for the 17 pdr, thus they had nothing to match Tigers & Panthers other than modiflying the US M4 & M10.
@mihailolord not really... its kinda like the bradely its made for infantry. not fighting other tanks. used for tanking buildings and other light armour vehicles
The Stuart was actually a very good tank when used to combat the tanks it was designed to fight, It was built to fight Pzkw I and Pzkw II, unfortunately it wound facing the Pzkw III's and IV's, which far outmatched it. Just like the Sherman. The early Shermans with low velocity 75mm guns, wound up facing the Tiger I with it's super heavy armor and 88mm Gun, the Shermans suffered losses of 5:1 until the Britsh modified it to the "Firefly" and put on the high velociy 76mm gun.
@ACRScout57 oooo my god....even ozkw 1 and pzkw 2 were far better than stuart...it could be penetrated with 10 mm rifle bullet! why did the american goverment gifted all stuarts to the allies? because its worst tank ever....even albania recieved a couple stuarts during the war...even polish armored trucks were better and efficient than stuart
The tank You don't know is the "Maus", the "Callyope", Sherman with rocketlauncher, was not very secret and extensivly used and last not least, the Christie tank T3, is from the prewar aera.
They were created to destory heavy-protected targets as bunkers and houses, and were used first during battle for Warsaw between Red army&polish anti-nazi rebels and Wermacht
@dadsad66 No, its a British Vickers Mk VI light tank, entered service in 1936. The British army used it on the early battles of WWII (France and North Africa). Remained in production until 1940.
@mumugamer2006 umm lets see...we have Crusader, matilda,T-34,T-20,Marder(various versions) Flammenpanzer, Ostwind Flakpanzer,PUMA, humber, M18 Hellcat, Hotchkiss..i could go on but I am a bit bored..
As example- the operation in Stalingrad was failed because Hitler gave Paulus stupid orders. Paulus was loyal to hitler so he did what Hitler said, but he know the will not win in Stlg.Paulus's plan was much different.Same as normandy, africa, used tanks and weapons and many more, Hitler was a very bad militarist and his Generals knew it, This idiot stuck his nose everywhere.
@Ixtzalit you are right..when he was given the stg44(sturmgewehr44??) he rejected it even if it was great and decided to use the old KAR98 rifles :S that were accurate but had low firerate and in urban battlefields you NEED firerate more than accuracy...
They only finishe two and I use the term finished loosely. It's true that one was sent to Berlin, but it broke down after a coiuple of miles and was blown up by its crew.
The "secret" tank is german Panzer VIII Maus. The last one you ve said isnt called T95 its the T28 tank destroyer and full 90 Tons lighter than the german Maus (maus was 188 tons)
that german tank was the panzerkampfwagen 8 super heavy tank weighing 144 tonnes with 2 main armement a 75mm gun(same as the M4) and a 128mm(same as jagdtiger)that russian tank was wierd and maus tank could probaly kick its ass especialy if wittman was driving the maus
The Panzer VIII Maus weighed 188tons and I doubt even Wittmann could have kicked anyone's ass in it. Leaving aside its lethally low mobility, it was so unstable that the only truly finished tank broke down after only 30km or so.
thats not the right name for the last tank, the one your talking about and showing the picture of is the t 28 super heavy tank also known as the 105 gun motor carraige, its not the t95, the t95 is the russains most modern main battle tank
lol russians didnt capture and use technology form the germans they captured a panther and fired a round from the IS-2 andit went straight through it frton-engne-rear plus the m-16 and m-4 WOULD NOT BE HERE

lala82NS 2 years ago
Did the Maus ever see a battlefield, or was it just a body guard? If the Germans made enough of them, they could have easily won WW2.

They would win the war without Hitler on the throne.
Ixtzalit 2 years ago
if hitler wasnt in power the war wouldnt have begun
wescoproductions 2 years ago
That is true. But If Hitler were killed in 1942, Someone would take his position
Ixtzalit 2 years ago
valid point
wescoproductions 2 years ago
Yes and end the war. They tried to kill him quite a few times because they knew he was leading Germany to destruction.
plastique45 2 years ago
As example- the operation in Stalingrad was failed because Hitler gave Paulus stupid orders. Paulus was loyal to hitler so he did what Hitler said, but he know the will not win in Stlg.Paulus's plan was much different.Same as normandy, africa, used tanks and weapons and many more, Hitler was a very bad militarist and his Generals knew it, This idiot stuck his nose everywhere.
Ixtzalit 2 years ago
@Ixtzalit you are right..when he was given the stg44(sturmgewehr44??) he rejected it even if it was great and decided to use the old KAR98 rifles :S that were accurate but had low firerate and in urban battlefields you NEED firerate more than accuracy...

slightley unknow how much build ... maby 6-12 "Maus" build and a few tanks were defending against the Red Army in Belin in the last day´s of WW2.
official they´ll never fight but i see photo´s where, some of it bombt out by russian bombers or Ari.
and they noz build for Tank battle´s they are plant as " Walking Fortresses" to serve infantry
axel99i 2 years ago
They only finishe two and I use the term finished loosely. It's true that one was sent to Berlin, but it broke down after a coiuple of miles and was blown up by its crew.

that german tank was the panzerkampfwagen 8 super heavy tank weighing 144 tonnes with 2 main armement a 75mm gun(same as the M4) and a 128mm(same as jagdtiger)that russian tank was wierd and maus tank could probaly kick its ass especialy if wittman was driving the maus
usshermantank 2 years ago
The Panzer VIII Maus weighed 188tons and I doubt even Wittmann could have kicked anyone's ass in it. Leaving aside its lethally low mobility, it was so unstable that the only truly finished tank broke down after only 30km or so.
chrthiel 2 years ago
I seen the Maus at Kubinka tank museum Moscow and next to it is an even bigger motar 'Adam'.....huge
kiwicossack 2 years ago
thats not the right name for the last tank, the one your talking about and showing the picture of is the t 28 super heavy tank also known as the 105 gun motor carraige, its not the t95, the t95 is the russains most modern main battle tank
june061944 2 years ago
i thought the t28 was a tank destroyer not a motor carrige which is another way of saying SPH
cammanderWho 2 years ago
The T 28 was also called T95.
The army used a lot of different classifications for it since it didn't fit t´with US Army tank doctrine at the time.
chrthiel 2 years ago
first tank is a british suart, names on the tanks would be helpful
