Oooh - HSQ. I thought I had the only video of her until now!!! BFC lost that plane a couple years ago. I have the last footage of it the summer before it crashed.
Interesting flight. I did the same thing with a pilot friend of mine but from the opposite direction. We came from Oshawa and circled the tower and headed back.
Did you hear about that Seneca Airplane that went down, The instructor and student had to land it engine failure. They are based out of Button Ville where i work for my co-op.
I just learned that Trance Atlantic Air Waves was created by Michel Cretu and Jean Gad. The same Micheal Cretu who made Enigma... I love Enigma music!!!
Since I only fly my airplanes I only count what it costs me per hour in fuel, about 25-35L/H. As for rentals, I believe the C-172 is $130/hour fuel included.
Im taking lessons at Brampton now... They are about 130 an hour, but with an instructor its a bit more... I usually spend around 200 bucks a flight and get ~1.2h
Note: At brampton you have to fly 30m total (15 ond way) to get to the practice area, so, you may be spending extra money on that, but, in the end once you have your licence or if you go and get your commercials then it doesn't matter, more time is better =D
When you're flying in the proximity of the CN Tower then you are actually talking with City Center Airport Tower. Before that I was with YYZ Center controller.
Brampton's circuit pattern happens 200ft lower than normal (at 1700 asl, [brampton is 935]) because of the radar. you can avoid it comming from the east, north or north west if you fly below the upside down cake
lousy music

holy crap, how much does it cost to fly so much? Are you in some school or it is necessary to buy your own plane?
