You have a good sense of humour and are not afraid to let fly on things you don't like, so do it more. It's cool to show what you bought, but if you haven't watched it yet, it's not interesting enough (to the viewer) to simply show your wares for the week... or two.

Ours is just a normal Sharp t.v. No HD TV yet & there won't be anytime soon. Problem is our VCR plays tapes fine, but the DVD player doesn't work at all. I'd really like a recorder so I can make my own tapes & disks now that I got a Digital video camera. Only thanks again for answering so quickly.

Well the dvd/ vcr recorder records normal dvds like you can get from the stores, You can record tv, transfer vhs tapes to dvds and stuff like that.

Hd and blu ray are the 2 different types of hd players you can get now. The are basically the same but blu ray can hold more info on the disks, What they are are movies in high defintion which means the picture is about 5 times sharper then normal dvds, But in order to use them you need a hd tv, Do you have a hd tv?
