this song isn't about the break up this song is from the over the hills and far away ep that was released in 2001 tarja wasn't released from nightwish untill October 21, 2005...the song that was written about the break up is actually "Bye Bye Beautiful" and was written by Tuomas Holopainen about the band's former vocalist, Tarja Turunen, who was dismissed from the band with an open letter in 2005, and his feelings before and after the time she changed her attitude towards the band and its music

Accept that Tuomas and the boys voted Anette in, and there is jack-all you die-hard Anette haters can dop about it. The old songs are not all suited to Anette's voice, but thats in the past. I am licensed to say this because I have performed, re-recorded and COVERED those songs. I am a grade 8 classically trained soprano and 2010 Llangollen international Eisteddfod finalist what have YOU ever acheived? Go train your voice, and sing old nightwish. At least I can!

Tarja was kicked out of the band, they went out with the letter the band wrote to her on their homepage the same day as shhe got kicked out.

In my opinion Tarja is the greater singer of the two but it wasnt just Tarja who made nightwish, Tarja never helped out with any of the song writing.
