great video on tips for skiing. i'll be using these tips. also sometimes frames per second doesnt matter. i shoot with the entry d5100 slr and its 4fps, but if you time it right, you'll be perfectly fine.

I think Adam addressed that point when he says don't hide behind your gear. It's the vision that matters, look for interesting angles, composition, and light. Throw some action in there and you can have a great shot with just about any camera and lens combo.
