Still a great favorite of mine! Every piece fits together so perfectly. Of course, for me, the words are the most important, and yours here are exquisite. I am so glad you did sing your own song here, because it is a perfect rendering as far as I am concerned; very emotional...even passionate! Tom, this is so wonderful. The lyric is masterfully poetic conjuring the image of a seaman's lonely life while plying the spice trade of a bygone era. The melody and vocal conveys just the right note of wistfulness. Then there are the great photos to further enhance the whole. Just marvelous. Thank you for sharing.
