They ran past the time alloted for the Pay Per View event, and no one who ordered it saw the rest of the match. WCW had to refund MILLIONS to all the subscribers due to them running over time. This is where the fall of WCW started...

@HykCraft They did however remedy the situation as much as possible by showing the match in it's entirety the following night on WCW Monday Nitro. Certainly one of the moments you could point to as the beginning of the end of WCW.

@HykCraft Ehhh I saw them do that on the DVD and I thought they put way too much emphasis on it being the beginning of the fall. They were still competing very well with WWE at the time and it really didn't get bad unil the FIngerpoke of Doom.  I was actually suprised they put that much emphasis on this match not being shown and very little to the Fingerpoke.
