You are correct, but he waited too long to do this. I have never seen a real life pilot do it this long before, no matter what plane.

If you think this is normal, you are so wrong. I live 4km away from an airport, have travelled probably more than you overseas, been on the A380 (and the cockpit for that matter) and talked to a Singapore airlines pilot.

Good video capture....

AOA too great ,early reverser. You should be only about 3-6 de nose up till you are about to touchdown (20 ft or so above) then flare for landing. As you pass the threshold, the engines come to idle. Use small thrust changes to maintain approx. 140-145 kts. speed in the final approach. After touchdown, speed brakes out till the nose wheel is on the ground, THEN reversers. Cut the reverser at 80 kts. and apply manual braking.

In this video he used special san diego scenery from Flytampa, not everything looks like that. But if you go into settings on fs2004, but all of the bars on high, for more realism

This was an manual app because the san diedo airport dose not support an ils cat III runway and runway 27 only has a vo and with a vor you have to make it a manual app i hope this helped
